i just got a eagle industries plate carrier in it should be shipped out to me soon. now i dont know much about this brand except its pretty good. i got it in ranger green and i was wondering if it would match my marpat desert and woodland well(cant afford getting two colors until i get issued my gear. and btw is it ok to airsoft with my issued gear or not?)

Eagle is the gold standard in gear, and always has been.

RG with marpat is personal preference. Most USMC stufflooks the best with coyote brown (not coyote tan).

I don't know what you get to hang onto as far as issued stuff, but using airsoft as a training tool you should probably use gear as close to what you will be taking to war with you as you can, though I don't think they will let you go down range with your PC.

Are you Marine Reserve up on 35th? thats where i'm at.  If you are you get issued older stuff, but if your just checking in you get all the nice new stuff! (isn't it messed up knowing recruits get better stuff than me, same with all the boots!) Well anyway i rock my issued gear out in the field, now if you get an OTV take out the soft armor it makes it 10 time better.  My kevelar is sh*t too but i use it anyways. If your ever in doubt bout that stuff, just remember if you have earned it wear it!
