Awesome pics Giles!

That nuke prop was really cool.  Definitely added to the flavor of the game.  Good job on the prop Bio!

My personal favorite , the key code, when looked at , has a letter variation " BIOSGAY"

And if anyone read Russian that nuke had all sort of nasty written all over it  [-(

But it was awesome. I had a great time.

in responce to guage's post in the original thread:
the story and administrative aspects of this game were great... and thats where it ends.
as far as pedar goes, there was absolutely NO (i mean NO) organization; it seems that no one had any sort of experience at all with airsoft, and no one knew what the hell was going on. everyone seemed to be playing just for themselves, with no team thinking involved (aside from a select few that i saw). there was lots of standing around, walking slowly, and just not looking out. when we made 360s, people thought it was a good idea to just sit down and chill out; this led to NUMEROUS venesuelans and CIA operatives BREAKING OUR PERIMETER UNCHALLENGED, and taking out pedar. PATHETIC! do you people know what you are doing???
and lastly, there was a push down the hill from the smelter... as soon as we were in range, everyone decided to stop, take cover, and just trade shots; this led to us getting hung up and torn up. then, when we decided to charge, miraculously i was THE ONLY ONE who actually did... and i lkilled 4/5 that were in my zone. if we all had actually moved, we would have taken it then and there.
this event has made me angrier than i ever have been playing airsoft. the design and organization of the actual event was awesome, and i thank and congratulate those who made it possible. but to those who played in it (at least on pedar): you need alot of work. infact, you all need work from the ground up. it is sunday night, and im still swearing under my breath about what happened. it was dismal.
im not expecting rambos on the field, nor am i expecting fully trained Marines. but i am expecting some common sense.
to those who designed this game: thank you, again. you are great. but i do have one suggestion: it was very difficult for us to identify some of the CIA who were allowed to wear out team's cammies... i saw a CIA guy wearing ACU and deserts! thats what we were wearing... but he was CIA. that didnt make any sense. thats my only suggestion for next time.
but i will surely think twice before i waste my time and money again to play with some of the people i played with yesterday.

We stole the Eagle from the Air Force, the Anchor from the Navy, and the rope from the Army. On the 7th day, while God rested, we overran his perimeter and stole the Globe, and we\'ve been running the show ever since.

madcatjoe, you forget that most of us are not trained marines or soldiers. Most of us are just regular joes whos' only fighting experience is what we see in movies and computer games. I think you worry too much about mil sim and tactics and I am sure you did not enjoy the game as much as I did because you were so hung up on what other people were doing. Look, just worry about your own performance and have a great time. I sure as hell did! I tried to work with my team mates when ever possible but sometimes I had to go solo. Also, dont blame it all on your team mates, most of the confusion came from not having enough squad leaders and breaking squad coherency. I agree with your statement partly, but for the most part I expected this to happen lol. All in all great game, count me in for the next one!

im not forgetting that most arent trained; thats ok. but common sense and team thinking are somewhat a requirement of milsim and airsoft. the following:
Quote
just worry about your own performance
is the root of the problem. instead of working and thinking as a team, we were playing and acting for ourselves, exclusively, with no objective in mind other than to pop out and shoot again. true, there werent enough people in charge or in leadership positions, but when someone took it upon themselves to lead, they were ignored, and the team went right back to hiding behind a bush and exchanging shots, or smoking-and-joking about someone else's weapon.
thank you for your input, but i stand by my statement.

You're setting an unbelievably high standard here - realize that the team is as strong as it's weakest unit for the most part, relax, and just try to have fun.

You radiate seriousness and super high expectations; reference your statement, 'we were going to engage you from farther out' when you guys hit us at the Alamo.

In the end, this is just airsoft, and while I can understand where you're coming from, keep it to yourself.

I shall say i agreed with your point of view but the root cause is not "worry about my own performance". From what i can tell, it is not because this people are not willing to act like a team, but because they somewhat are confused about what they should do. The bunch of ppl on my left are defending, while another bunch of ppl on my right are walking, so which one shall i joined in?  It is only once that i found my team leader who was designated before the game, and most of the time i was just joining the team which was closest to me. My radio seems less informative and it is hard for me to know where my team was.  Overall, on Pedar, i think the high-rank leader was doing something right, and act always strategically correct. But the force allocation was somewhat chaotic and we were messed up with alpha team, belta, charlie, delta, echo... I didn't expect one needs to know everyone in the whole team, but at least we need to know every member of the 10-person squad. If that is the case, no matter how chaotic it would be, at least 10 people were fighting together.
