Those Deep Fire pistons were forged in the burning pits of hell to cause pain and anguish to airsofters everywhere.  You might as well dip your forty bucks in BBQ sauce and eat it.  That G&G piston is good, but costs about double what any piston should cost.

I don't know if your gun has a worthlessly high rate of fire or not, but for an airsoft gun that shoots less than 20 balls per freaking second, I can highly recommend Guarder, AE, and Madbull pistons.  They don't cost much and last a good long time.

get a deep fire for sure. Spend the money on it. You can definatly rely on one. i put one in mine and it works great, not to mention it will last a very long time. Plus the titanium teeth slide out of the piston, so you can replace just the teeth if you have to.

Counterpoint - I have Deep Fire pistons, but, I also have very high quality gears in all of my guns.

Deep Fire polycarb piston with titanium teeth: FOUR broken in a row.  FOUR, all broken, used in different guns, within 1000 shots each, all in the same manner. The polycarb frame around the teeth is much too thin and breaks under pressure.  If that isn't the worst gearbox investment ever, I don't know what is.  Like I said before: forged in hell.

I prefer cheap Area 1000 ones myself. I prefer the piston to get ripped up and replaced rather then the rest of the gear box. I am not an expert at all with gear boxes and it may be possible to have a better set up then that, but I just stick to my experience.
