Dboys (RK02) or CYMA CM036 ???
« on: January 17, 2009, 04:23:15 PM »
I need a new prime since my M4's body is broken... I was thinking of getting a second rifle anyway. I was reading online and people said that the RK02 is good but most prefer the CYMA CM036 or higher number of the CM series. I really don't know what to pick so i want to ask all of you on your opinions about both of them. I have bought Dboys so far and their guns are pretty good if you know what to pick, like my M4, so i am pretty fond of Dboys products.

For that price go and buy an Echo 1 AK-47. Failing this, I would recomend the Cyma, merely because I have never had experiance with Dboys. Two of my friends have the older cyma AK47, bought back when Jungle toys was still in business, and they have yet to stop working. If you are looking for an AK, and don't mind Cyma, AirsoftGi.com has one for about 90$ I don't exactly if there are any internal changes, it merely has different externals then the one in your picture, but its about 60$ cheaper. I believe its a Cyma CM028, and is the same one that my friends have. Hope this helps.

might wanna check out a kalash as well.
people back home used them and they HIGHLY recommend them. havent heard of any failing or breaking. plus they have metal bodies AND wooden grips standard.

and not pot-metal either.

Kalash and Dboys are the same thing. You are right on though, I just bought an Dboys Ak74 full stock. I would say that the build and externals are amazing for the price. I like the finish on it a bit more than the Cyma; more matte and the trades are less flashy. Both are great guns. Cyma's products have changed significantly in the last couple of years.

Well the M4 only has a broken body cause it was the NON-full metal version... i should of bought the full metal for it to last longer. Other then the body, bushings, and shims the rest is metal... which i think it is not bad for a plastic version. I had a Dboys M16 SPR rifle which is full metal and it was great, i had to sell it cause im a small person and i could not hold the gun that well since it  was kinda long (short arms  :(  ).
