Holy titshitfuckers I dont know how I missed this, but a friend e-mailed it to me, Finally a fuckking civilian version of the 416, I've been looking for a 416 upper for a while now and only came across one(suppoidly) some guy claimed he had one and would sell it to me for $6,000..... I dont know how much these will cose, I read somewhere that they will be 2,000 euros wich is like $3000 us, but I would be willing to spend that much for the complete rifle, I'm not sure if they are making a 417 civilian version as well, but I would assume they are......

I dont know how he would have gotten it over here. he's probably just selling an hk416 upper on a spike lower lol. i hate to say it but if/when they do sell the MR223 here i'll be right in line in front of you paying the 3 g's to get mine, but i do hope they dont move the pin forward here I'd like to be able to swap uppers, nice gun though. I think they are holding off on the sale of it here in the states to see what the current administration will do to butcher our gun rights. cross your fingers, maybe it will come!

yeah I could probably go buy the Bushnaster gas-piston mod for like $350 and Daniel defense( I think) makes an upper that looks almost identical to the 416, but it's just not the same. I'd be wiling to pay $3,000 for the complete thing, but I don't think I could being myself to pay over $2,000 just for the 416 upper, and it doesn't help that I want the shorter one such I've heard is next to impossible to find.

The SBR upper is one of the only one out there in large numbers in civilian market here in US (unless it came off a dealer sample 14.5 inch someone parted out). they werent even meant to be out there. there was a large group buy I think from someone on the HKpro forum and HK changed thier mind after the legal sale of them and ask everyone to return them saying it was illegal for them to have them (HK in all thier not wanting to make money wiosdom). the only size barrel from that group purchase was 10.5 inch. HK uppers are in the insane zone of 6800 last I saw them.

I don't think I've ever seen one go for $6800, but I haven't looked too hard.  I'd say I've seen maybe half a dozen for sale across 2 or 3 years.  Not all the time, but occasionally.

A 10.5" One just went on 10-8 for $3575. -

The rear takedown pin is moved forward and the upper/lower receivers are not compatible with AR-15 receivers.
Its also confirmed they do take USGI 30 round mags... (but not PMAGs... easily atleast).

It's wasn't in the plans for American's MR223 to have the pin moved forward, but even if they did you can still pay out the rear for any of the ones that came off an actual HK416 and they will fit. The 416 was made to be able for the military to switch the uppers if they didnt want the complete gun. They moved the pin forward on the MR223 in Germany so people wouldnt install the upper on a machine gun.

These will work for you if you want to pony up enough for 5 AR's, or 5,500 or more wendy's JR Bacon Cheeseburgers.

Arizona Tactical Firearms had one on display for 6800 dollars from what i heard, but that is sold. some guy installed it on an full auto lower. (saw it, looked nice)

and honestly if I had an MR223/762 I'd probably just leave it as is and just get a Bushmaster or something that I could swap uppers on. If I had the scratch to afford the HK rifle I'd probably have enough for another AR too

Your standard semi-auto lowers aren't compatible with 416 uppers unless you change the hammer.
