I assume you're looking for a unit for photo shoot / demo use.  To me, the newer PEQ15 replicas are very close to the real deal with regard to IR lasers.

ALL of the PEQ-2s I have seen are different enough in dimensions to be visible in photos.  

The PAQ-4C replica from G&P is spot-on as far as looks, function, and fitment.  It's an older style laser, but there are still units out there using them.  I haven't handled any of the replica IZLID units, or the D-BAL, but they look good.

If you NEED a PEQ2, try Gearbox Airsoft.  I got a good looking replica from them awhile ago that has held up well.

im not sure about gearbox, because i live down here in crapsun, but the main purpose of the peq im looking into is to hold my m249 battery, have a lazer, and be durable all together.

Then the Nitro Vo. PEQ2A box should suit your needs.

Nitro Vo. makes some of the nicest airsoft stuff.
Pretty sure its all Made in Japan.
