OPERATION: West Wing May 2-3

[Marauders Airsoft]

One of the opening battles of Operation Iraqi Freedom was fought by a sole platoon of US Army Rangers.  The rangers were assigned to destroy a number of SCUD launchers that were positioned near the border of Jordan.  It is believed that Saddam Hussein intended to launch missiles into Israel when the United States invaded Iraq.  The Ranger platoon entered Iraq from a secret base in Jordan called the West Wing and successfully assaulted and destroyed their targets after an intense 4 hour battle.

Join us at the MTT Urban Assault Course on Sunday, May 3 to be a part of OPERATION: WEST WING.  The game will feature:

        Airsoft Combat in Mock Buildings and Villages
        Smoke Grenades and IED’s

MTT will hosting a Small Unit Field Tactics Class on Saturday, March 21.

This class is recommended for those who are interested in playing on the US Forces at OP: West Wing.  The $10 admission to the class will be applied to OP: West Wing admission.

Registration for the first Small Unit Field Tactics class will close on Friday, March 21.  Admission to the class will be credited to OP: West Wing in May.

The next class will be held on April 11.  The class will also be $10 and admission will be credited to OP: West Wing.

Attending the training programs will help players become familiar with some of the missions and tactics that may be needed at Op: West Wing.

Event discount for players from outside of the Phoenix area.

MTT is offering players who live at least 1 hour outside of the Phoenix metro area a 50% discount on OP West Wing.  This means admission to the game is only $25 until April 27th and $30 on the day of the event.

MTT will be giving away at least two free passes for OP: West Wing at the MTT Big Game on April 4.  The admissions will be raffled off during the lunch break.

The Big Game is a great opportunity to check out the field prior to the OP.

OP West Wing patches are now available for pick up at Gearbox Airsoft for players who register and secure their space at the event with a $10 deposit.

There are 34 players registered for the event as of April 15.

Missions will be emailed out to registered players beginning on April 30.

MTT has received numerous calls and emails about being able to attend just one day of the two day event.

Players may attend either day of the event.  They are not required to play both days to attend Op: West Wing.

Day 1 will feature a number of different airsoft games and training missions.
Day 2 players will get to participate in the OP: West Wing military simulation game and prize raffle.

Cost for attending just Saturday is $20.
Cost for attending just the Sunday is $30

Out of town players (Tucson, Prescott, Flagstaff) may attend the first day for only $10 or $15 for the Op.

MTT is currently coordinating the use of at least one duece and a half for OP: West Wing.  The vehicle is being provided by Carl Johnson of East Bloc Imporst LLC.  

A second deuce provided by Gearbox Airsoft may be at the event on Sunday.

These two military vehicles may be used by the US Rangers during the missions on Sunday.  The Fedayeen will have a civilian "technical" as a troop transport.

Registration for OP: West Wing has been extended until Friday at 7 pm.  

Players may deposit $10 at Gearbox Airsoft to guarantee a space for the event on Saturday or Sunday (or both).

Currently, there are 45 players registered for both days.
