Rebel Union Free sunday morning airsoft 4-26-09

Game on this sunday, early start, everyone needs to be at the rallypoint BEFORE 9 am, then a 5 minute drive to the field. same rules as always. no one under 18, nothing over 400 fps with a .20 bb. Eye and mouth protection are required. GAMES ARE FREE!

Just got my brother the Vector Arms MP5 and he is dying to try it out. Down side its shooting close to 400...... If need be I will use it on single shot only. If anyone has a problem with me doing that I have people that can vouch for my sportsmanship and gameplay. problem is they are in NC. But we will be there. and a new guy in acu and my dad for pictures.

And if I could make a suggestion, bear in mind I'm not trying to change the rules and I honestly don't have the time or sources to hold my own game, but set fps regulations that are similar to lions claws games. I know its different out here than it is in North Carolina but we go by a rule set that uses MED's for different fps guns.  For example:

North Carolina Airsoft Organization Rules:
SNIPER BOLT ACTION ONLY AND YOU MUST CARRY SIDEARM OR CQC WEAPON NO EXCEPTIONS
DMR CLASS... SEMI ONLY MUST CARRY SIDEARM OR CQC WEAPON NO EXCEPTIONS

Velocities and MED
300 to 400fps - 15ft Minimum Engagement Distance
400 to 450fps - 50ft Minimum Engagement Distance; Semi-Auto ONLY
450 to 500fps - 100ft Minimum Engagement Distance; Semi-Auto ONLY
500 to 550fps - 100ft Minimum Engagement Distance; Bolt Action ONLY
Over 550fps - Prohibited

Lions Claws Rules:
REGULAR CHRONO

3.1.3 All non-sniper weapons will be chronographed using EXCEL .25 gram NON-BIO BBs.

OK < 366 fps Caution 366-376 fps NO GO > 376 fps

SNIPER CHRONO 3.1.4 All sniper weapons will be chronographed using .34 gram BBs (8mm) or .36 gram BBs. Using .34g (8mm) BBs: OK < 448 fps Caution 448 - 460 fps NO GO > 460 fps

Using .36 gram BBs. OK < 436 fps Caution 436 - 447fps NO GO > 447 fps


Its just a thought and these are chronoed with .25g bb's.  Like I said its an Idea I don't want to change the rules to make them more like what I am used to its just a suggestion.  Personally I use .28g in all of my rifles for better accuracy.

And I ask respectfully not to get flamed on this idea like I stated it is just an idea not one of the "If these rules aren't accepted I'm not playing" kind of deal I'm not that kind of player.

thanks for the input gizmo, but we are going to keep the same limits we currently use. nothing full auto over 400 fps with a .20, semi is 450 with a .20, and single shot is 500fps with a .20, single and semi have a 50ft engagement limit.


by the way i have your tan standard cap mag in my truck.

I finally got around to fixing my MSG 90 so I'll be bring in that this time, it shoots around 415-425.  Still have to sight it in so I may be at the field early.
