How adjustable is it?  I'm thinking of picking it up, but I don't think it will fit me.

its very adjustable, and fits very tight with a couple layers of cardboard or fake sapi plates. I dont have this thing adjusted all the way small but I'm 5'6 144lbs. I wore this back when i weighed 130lbs. It'll fit anyone.

I was actually wondering about the other way.  I'm 6'2 280lbs.

if you're seriously interested, i will of course let you size it up before you spend any hard earned money, to make sure you can wear it comfortably.
