goggles or masks

Just wondering what everyone uses, goggles or masks? Ive played paintball for about 10 years and it was essential to have a full face mask, but if you've ever worn one you know while running around it gets hot, sweaty, and they fog up pretty easily. So I'm hoping i can get away with just a good set of goggles. So what does everyone else use while playing open field? I'm sure cqb i would want to wear a mask cause of the short distance. And keep in mind i wear glasses. Thanks

I wear big fat glasses also, and I use ESS goggles that just fit over my glasses.

Glasses usually look a lot cooler then big bulky goggles and they tend not to fog up as much since they typically aren't sealed like goggles. One of the only pair of goggles I used and liked as much as glasses was the Bolle x800. It wasn't extremely bulky and it breathes great.

Yah i wouldn't mind glasses but i wear prescription glasses so i gotta get something to fit over them. Did you mean the X500, or the t800? Couldn't find the x800.

Just google "Bolle x800" and they're everywhere. I know Airsoft Extreme has them too.

Bolle makes the superior T-800 goggles, while Guarder makes the imitation "x-800" series. Go with the original Bolles, the frames last much longer.

To be more exact, the ESS Striker goggles will fit over most glasses.

The best option I've found is the ESS Profile TurboFan goggles with the prescription insert:

I second the T800's. They're slim, light, and have great airflow.
There also very inexpensive.
My choice when I have to wear googles.

I woudn't wear masks because alot of the times they limit your peripherals.

us surplus has ESS low profile goggles for 18.50  slight scratches in the lenses but if you know how you can buff em out   *i my self failed and am now looking for replacement lenses local  i dont have time to order [smilie=armata_pdt_06.gif]

You mean you don't have 5 minutes to get online with a debit or credit card and order something?then come home one day and pick it off the porch..instead you want to spend 20 extra minutes somewhere buying them..wierd...


Best thing you can do is get yourself a pair of Oakleys with RX lenses. Oakley states on their website that RX lenses may or may not fit into z87.1 rating but if you talk to an oakley customer service rep, and tell them the lens they will tell you it conforms.
