Not sure what you would consider "good". I used to run the private parts conversion for my CA36 and it worked fine. I had placed velcro pile around the inside of the magwell because it had too much clearance and the mags would wobble. Though the mags would not feed the last 7 rounds it worked fine otherwise. I sold it because I just did not like the ergonomics of the gun; the mag release was on the wrong side of the gun and the trigger pull was really long.

AddoAduro has had better luck with his PPA magwell than his Star G36 mags.  As far as I know his MAG mids feed fine in it.

All in all, I'd have to recommend against it... When it works, it works great.  But, there's not really any way to tell if it's going to work in the middle of a game or not, you just have to hope you get lucky.  It may feed fine when chrono'ing before the game, and then not feed halfway through the game, for no apparent reason.  I'd recommend just getting some decent G36 mags.  ("decent" does NOT include STAR.  Their midcaps are crap.)

I had a lot of feeding issues with my PPA conversion before I sold it.  I've seen other people use them and have it work well.  Almost always, though, I've seen people need to modify it to make it work better.

Hey I might be of some help I run a m4 mag well in my Stars sl8. And in my tokyo marui g36c. I believe its a private parts magwell. Well here is a little trick to get it to feed better. When mine doesn't feed right I take a q-tip and put some silicone oil on it and stick it in the feed tube. And lube the feed tube up. It seems to help when mine doesn't want to feed properly. Hope my little tip worked.

The stars sl8. Is awesom. Shoots well out of the box. But there room for improvement. It has awesom range. I use it as a sniper/ support gun. And pick people off from across the field. Any other question. Feel free to shoot me a pm.
