if we want to be a zombie how would the rules for them work. would he zombies have to bite(touch) the person or is there a ft range i have to get in? also do they need to stumble and walk or can they go full out 28days later aand run? one last thing is it head shots only to kill a zombie?

Thanks for the question.

Shower grenades may be used during the first mission.

Zombie rules will be included in the game rules emailed out a week before the event in the game packet.  Here's a brief summary.

All players may walk quickly (zombies and humans).  As this is a night game with large amounts of CQB, running is not allowed.

Zombies can only be killed by chest or back shots.  Headshots are not allowed for safety.  Although these do occur, so it is highly recommended that players wear mouth or face protection.

Zombies infect by attacking a human and getting two hands on to any part of the players body (arms, legs, torso.) Guns don't count as part of a human.

Zombies are encouraged to act like them.  They are not allowed to behave like normal humans or move tactically.

MTT has used these rules at two previous zombie events and about 10 small games.  Almost all the players felt these rules worked well for both the humans and zombies.

one more question, is their an ammo limit on the mid caps becuse some people have mid's that hold any where from 60 to 120rd's and if the start limit on ammo is 200rd's total people would be running around with nothing more than 2 to 4 clips. or are people only allowed to put a limited amount of ammo in the clips?

The ammo limit is 200 bb's in any combination for three missions.

For example-
2 M4 85 round star mags - 170
1 Glock AEP 30 pistol mag - 30
Total bb's = 200

or

1 M4 120 round mag -120
1 M4 120 round mag loaded with 80 rounds - 80
Total = 200

The staff won't be checking the exact bb count of each player, but will be verifying the type and number magazines going out onto the field.

Spectators are allowed at in the staging area around the fields at Fighter Town.  However, most of the action will be taking place in the dark and probably in buildings away from the staging areas so there might not be much to see.

One option to get a first person view of the event is to volunteer to be a zombie.  Zombies could walk anywhere on the battle field with eye protection and "watch" the event.  Zombies are usually only shot at if approaching combatants.  The reason for this is the limited ammo rules.

Just an idea for those who may want to observe, but not actually get into the thick of things.
