quick question tho.. are bio BB's on par with non bio BB's, as far a performance?

I've used G&G Bios and some no name high polish Bios in my guns and they feed awesomely. I have never had a problem with any of the Bios i have used. You can usually find G&G bios for cheap.

and vince for someone that is so into airsoft, how come your so negetive towards people that are trying to make the sport more popular or make money in the industry? it doesn't make sense to me. i am not attacking you im just curious.

I don't see how stating that even the half-life of biodegradable BBs far exceeds the average lifespan of any paintball or airsoft related business endeavor is negative. Besides, I think you mistake negativity for realism. As somebody 'so into airsoft', I think I have a pretty good handle on the history of airsoft in this state and this country.

How long do these things normally last? I don't know if G&G Bios are like, super biodegradable, but there are still BBs at Four Peaks from when I was in high school.

Also, where does the state mandate that airsoft must be played with biodegradable BBs? I don't know of any legislation applying to airsoft guns other than the stuff that falls under the air/BB gun umbrella.

the state doesnt mandate airsoft on a whole, but they have control of what happens on land owned by the state. and if there are still bbs at four peaks from so long ago, maybe they are not bios.

and the statement you made about the field closing before the bios degrade gives the impression that you think the field will fail within months. that is why it seems like negetive cannotation to me, i believe that is how others understood the statement as well, but perhaps i am incorrect. i am unable to speak for anyone besides myself.

Most older "Bio" BB's don't degrade that fast.  Most of the original Bio BB's just degraded in like 50 years rather than 100.  Some of the newer Bio BB's degrade that fast, not all.

At least they degrade. Airsoft is sure to leave behind some interesting Archaeological evidence...
