I think its awesome that a trusted organization is taking over the airsoft section of a cool new field, but for me and my team, the only reason we drive the 1.5 hour drive is because the games have good turnouts, and its free. I mean my team has been coming to RU games since the CQB field, our first valley game was with RU. However Im sure someone will take the reigns in terms of free organized games. However dont take that as criticizim, but more as a viewpoint from a very small percentage of airsofters.

infidel your acting like a child, i have given you no reason to behave this way. i have already posted that i will talk to the guys and most likely be able to change the bb rules as far as being able to bring your own. so please stop insulting me for absolutely no reason. just because you didnt agree with how things are forming doesnt give you the right to behave in such a mannor, and responses like that are just uncalled for.

Here is some information to clarify the use and groups organizing events at Fighter Town.  This information comes from a discussion that was held yesterday over the phone with one of the owners, Henry, with MTT staff to clarify some of the "information" on this thread.

1.  No single organization is responsible for airsoft events at Fighter Town.  I quote Henry, "Fighter Town is like the America West Arena, any group can rent it and set up events with its own rules."

2.  Groups may organize their own events with their own rules as long as they meet the basic safety requirements established by Fighter Town Paintball Park staff.

3.  Groups may charge their own prices to customers as long as Fighter Town Paintball has accepted the pricing structure.

4.  MTT has a written agreement/business plan that allows our company to host events at Fighter Town.  This agreement does not contain any restrictions on BB type (bio or non bio).  This agreement also allows MTT Annual Pass Owners to attend our events for discounted rates (usually 50% off of general admission.)

Hopefully, this info will help clarify some of the previous posts within this thread.  Please understand that Fighter Town is a great field that is open to just about anyone or any organization to host a fun and safe event.

MTT does not represent Fighter Town Paintball Park for its daily operations, but does represent the field as a paid sponsor, event organizer for Confrontation '09 and the pre-events associated with their business.

Please direct your questions about the status of different events to the owners, Tony Carioscia and Henry Ruiz who may be contacted through http://www.Fightertownpaintballpark.com

Please direct any questions about MTT events to MTTStaff@gmail.com or to this user account on Airsoft Arizona.

I'd be surprised if he listens to anything you say now with that attitude. The least you can do is be civil about your bitching.
First off I could care less If he listens, he needs to read and comprehend whats posted.  Don't come back and post and say I called you a lier, where Is this post your refferring too?  I don't see where that happened, not from me. And It boils down to not reading the entire thread or only reading what you want to read. That happens alot here, just has never happened to me. So If you want to call that "Bitching" then so be It..... I have nothing better to do all day...INFIDEL Its not just a Nick----Its a Life Style

if you care less then by all means get off this thread or the entire forums as a whole. your childish out bursts are pathetic and, dare i say it, some what amusing.

Quote from: "**INFIDEL**"
As with todays youth you only see what you wanna see or read, I did'nt say you were lying about anything. Read the fucking post!! and as for the boy90120 or what ever it Is you need to read the post also 20$ IMHAO Is fair, Its the 10 for 1000 BB's I was referring too. I'll spell It out since It appears I'm dealing with children with "Extensive Experience" that to use my M249 at this facility and full auto Is the only way It fires, the mag holds 2500BB's, ROF 14 BB's sec. It would cost with admission almost 50$ to load and use. Do you fucking get It now, I can't spell It out any better. And I'm not the only fucking one that owns one !! DO YOU GET IT NOW !! WTF.......... Nobodys this fucking stuipid !!......... AHHHhh.... I give up you'll figure It out eventually........ ](*,) Now tell me there's no place for a M249 at this field.........****

i did get it. if you looked down the sights of your gun you might not need so many rounds in one day, good god. Uchiha Itachi (yes i did spell his name correctly, imagine that! must be to hard for some people?) said exactly what needed to be said and he did it in a professional manner too. thank you Uchiha Itachi you said exactly what i wanted to say... you just got to it before i did.

before anyone says anything else about this, read what HENRY wrote.

Quote from: "Fightertown 1"
The interest in airsoft at our field has caught us at Fightertown off guard.  In order to give everyone the best experience at our field we have ask Jacob with Rebel Union to come work for us and help out with the airsoft side of the business.  It is no secret to anyone that Tony and I know nothing about airsoft.  We hate to see people come out to the field and sit because no other airsoft players are around.  With Jacobs help that will not happen.  Everyone is still welcome to come out for walk on games, you do not need to be a member of Rebel Union to play at the field.  Private games can still be set up by calling Tony and Henry at Fightertown.  Other teams that would like to come out and play are more than welcome.  We feel this is the best and fastest way to introduce the airsoft community to our field.  If you have any questions at all please feel free to send me a message and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Thank You

Henry at Fightertown

i would also like to make our standing with fightertown perfectly clear. The statement that we are running the airsoft division of fightertown means that we are hosting games for fightertown on a regular basis. we work for them and ultimately respect any desicion they decide to make reguarding airsoft.

Rebel Union is only hosting weekly regular games and occasional bbq events for fightertown, we do not run the facility nor do we make any finacial decisions for them. the bb issue has been resolved. players will be allowed to bring their own bio ammo and are not required to purchase ammo from fightertown at this time, and never was there an intent to price gouch people on ammo, any changes or prices set will be done by Fightertown. also no one is required to go through us to book any event at fightertown or come to open events, everyone is welcome to regular games and able to rent the field for their purposes. also if they want to play during our posted events and not play the games we are hosting they are welcome to do so. We are just hosting the games on a regular basis to ensure the field is used. you do not have to be associated with our group to play or pay any membership fees to us. we merely organize THEIR airsoft games. this is Henry and Tony's facility and they ultimately have final say on everything. If anyone has misunderstood our agreement with Fightertown I sincerly apologize.

I think people get to out of hand sometimes, I understood what you posted in the OP and I think people (myself included) may have been a little confused by this sentence of the OP.

You must use the ammo that we provide for you.

This is where some are like whoa whoa whoa ! Wait what ?

My first post in this thread was more of a statement when I was talking about what if someone just brings their own non bio's it was suppose to be in the form of a question and I didn't really post it that way after re reading it.

But I will keep you in my prayers to do a good job and run a great show, just don't let me down I have heard alot of negative things about you and have yet to see how you guys do things you all sound legit.

Hey guys, sorry it took so long for me to jump into forum on this.  It looks like it took off pretty fast.  By the way ,this is Henry from Fightertown.  I just want to clear up some things.  We are requesting people use bio's per the land owners request.  We were just told this.  MTT has a event planed for this weekend so if people did not plan for bio's we will not require them to be used due to short notice.  People will be allowed to bring their own bio's.  We eventually will stock some for people that may run out.  Our prices will be competative or even lower than store prices.  Thats the way we operate Fightertown.  We are not out to rip people off.  I also will not be the BB police, we request people use bio's and hopefully they will.  If not we will deal with that at a later time.  Jacob with RU will be helping us get weeking games going.  Nobody has to check with him before coming out and you do not need to be a part of RU in order to play.  If any group would like to schedule a private game you will need to contact Tony or I at Fightertown.  RU has chosen Fightertown as their field to use.  I hope other will do the same.  I have met with Mike from MTT and have scheduled several events at Fightertown with him.  He is a great guy as well as the guys from Brophy.  I look forward to meeting many more airsoft players.  In fact Im in the process of trying to set up a day with half price field fees in order to meet you guys.  I have seen several good sugestions on the forum.  I hope I have addressed some of them.  Please contact me with any issues or ideas.  Also let me know what you think of a meet and greet day at Fightertown.  We can open the nets on all three field and have one huge field for and epic battle,  but we will alot of players for this.   Once again, thanks for the interst in Fightertown.

Henry

**INFIDEL**, 24 hour ban.  I suggest you use it to examine your methods of making your point.

Lets try to keep it civil guys.

IMO, all the requirements Fightertown is putting out there seem very reasonable to me.  Its still cheaper than paintball.  Consider the fact that larger ops require the use of standard/mid cap magazines (no winding hi-caps) - think of the investment there.  Requiring players buy BB's there is far easier to police than having someone breaking the rules and ruining it for everyone later.  This is a private facility where you can play organized games with no outside interruptions.  You can always exercise your freedom and decide to not play there.

Those are my thoughts.

I don't understand why biodegradable BBs are required.

This paintball park, like just about every other one, will be out of business before the BBs are biodegraded.

That being said, that's how it is - so stop questioning it and dragging this thread off topic.

not really.....
Doesn't it take close to a hundred years for plastic to decay? Bio bb's are supposed to be gone in "10 days of rain" but the elements they leave are still in the soil.
@Vince
But its so that any future cooperation or landowners don't have to worry about the mess. Also "biodegradable" sounds much better then pollution on a business report. It may just save FT in the future. Also, going green is the business "seller" if you will, nowadays, and it will give the park an edge in the state market, over non - "green" field owners hoping to lease land. However, if people decide to avoid FT because of this, then the other sites will gain a revenue advantage by bringing in more customers, it will then be ultimately up to the state on who to support. Its an interesting situation.

the state mandates that fightertown uses bios, just like every other field on state land. and most bios are designed to break down within 180 days of exposure to the elements. so exarach is probably right on with 10 days of rain, i am sure that speeds up the process.

as far as performance goes, im sure if you buy high quality bio ammo it performs just as well as non bio. but that is just my best guess.

and vince for someone that is so into airsoft, how come your so negetive towards people that are trying to make the sport more popular or make money in the industry? it doesn't make sense to me. i am not attacking you im just curious.
