Mounting a camera to RIS system.

I am looking for a cheap way to mount a small pocket camera to my RIS system and I dont know how to go about doing it. Anyone know a way to do this?

what kind of Camera do you have?......pics?

I wanna take videos using a powershot and some how use the tripod mount on the bottom of the camera and put it on my ris

well if it were me....I'd get a small piece of "L" shaped aluminum (sp?) drill a hole to fit a fastener for the camera mount to the aluminum.   then get two nice RIS flash light mounts, and tap the holes for the other side of the mount for your RIS....then wham you have it for about $20.00

If you need plans I can try to do them on paint and upload for you.....


Good luck post up some pics when you get it done.....Oh and some blcak or camo paint for your mount... :D

my plan.... :mrgreen:

It only needs to be as wide as to get under the camera mounting hole......and then the RIS side you need to drill and tap to what ever flashlight mounts you find.....I'd use two RIS mounts for stability.....

So I found a screw that fits into the tripod adapter on the bottom of the camera and the clamps of my red dot and clamped it in the the rail with it!
Such an easy way to do it. Ill post pics if you want
