it says it will work on mp5s and i'm pretty sure the JG mp5s are a tokyo marui clone.

heres how to check:
the suppressor has a 14mm counter-clockwise thread so all you need to do is take a ruler or something and measure the diameter of the outer berral threads (the threads the flash hinder attaches to). if its 14mm and you had to turn the flash hinder to the right to take it off then your good to go.

Although that Silencer will work, it's not something found common in the real version of the MP5A4. They usually have something similar to this:

If you get that one, the other nice thing is that the end cap screws off and you can line it with felt or sound deadening material(although not legal) to reduce that "snap" you get from your AEG. Good luck.

Not with a sound supressor it's not. You can't ever silence your gun, or any gun. Unless you can achieve a 0db sound rating..

Not a 0db rating... a 0db change. there's a difference.

You are right, a 0db change from the ambient noise.

You are right, a 0db change from the ambient noise.

a 0db change from the original noise level generated by the gun.

Actually... by the actual text of the law, anything that silences a firearm greater than 1dB or more is considered a silencer.
Completely suppressing a gun (0dB from ambient level) is still illegal without the proper tax stamp.
Silencing it just a little bit (greater than 1dB from original firing level) is illegal without the proper tax stamp.

Granted, this rule is unimaginably hard to enforce. My mattress is a silencer, and requires a tax stamp, for example. lol.

Basically... if you make it quieter, it's illegal. even if it is zero decibels from ambient.

And, as stated before, yes, the 'silencer' will more than likely fit.

They fit the definition of a 'firearm' according to law. The attorney general, iirc, (or the appropriate authority, I'm not sure who it was anymore) was contacted a couple years ago for clarification, and it was confirmed that airsoft guns do fall under the national firearm laws for suppressors. This is because of the ease that an airsoft accessory could be adapted to use on a real steel firearm... and because of the similarity in firing mechanism (high pressure gas used to expel a projectile)... that mean an airsoft silencer would be effective on a real steel firearm. Maybe not very effective, and certainly not for more than a couple shots, but still... that's just how it is.
