WTT/WTS/WTB KJW m700
« on: November 08, 2009, 06:47:24 PM »
Ok so i have the Takedown version of the KJW m700. It is in FLAWLESS condition with less than 100 rounds through it. Nothing wrong with it except i need the NON takedown version for what I want to accomplish. I am will to either trade or sell the m700 TD, or buy your regular version if it is in good shape. Thanks.

The feed ramp/hopup assembly is located in the forward section... I am buying this...Which is a VSR-10 barrel/hop up conversion unit which won't fit in a TD.

i see
so does that make the hop up unit on the non-td version further back on the rifle giving you a longer barrel?

No actually. Hard to explain but the hop is adjusted from a sideways screw not a vertical one like the non td. and it fits together different. the stock hop works fine on the TD.. I just need the very fine tuning of the VSR, plus the hopup design is a bit better..
