M4 9mm conversion kit
« on: November 18, 2009, 12:19:43 PM »
I heard rumors that there was such a conversion kit, but didn't believe them because I'd never even heard of it.

A few seconds of google-fu (a lost martial art) and I came up with several results.

It does in fact exist, and is very cheap. The average price is 40 dollars. It's made of 100% plastic, including the magazine it comes with.

My question to you is this.

Airsoft atlanta is selling it for 10 dollars! 30 less than Airsoft gi or shortyusa.

I've never heard anything bad about atlanta, but I'm still a little suspicious. What do YOU think?

I own this, and and though I love it, I will say this, expect to get about 45 rounds per mag, other than that, no complaints, Mags feel cheap, but hell, they are! 10$ standards, I guess you could buy an uzi highcap, but.... Meh... :) BONUS! You can fit 3 of these mags into a standard m4/16 pouch. Carry on....

They have Echo-1's and CA Sportlines, but that's probably as close to a JG as you will get from Gearbox.

Lower than what you'd pay at Vanguard or AirsoftGI/AirSplat, yes.

Technically, yes, but it doesn't really work too well and looks stupid.
