Bushmaster acr

So bushmaster gave jesse james the first civilain ACR.

Quote
Jesse says ...

1.Mid length gas system, 16" barrel, m4 profile, AAC break for m42000 Can. New ratchet and lock design.
2.Gen-4 Rail system with removable pic rail sections. Rail moves a little in rear if twisted. (See Shoot Photos)
3.Came with both the new style folder with spring lock and the fixed stock.
4.New style gas block, no bayo lug,
5.Gun is Black.
6.All kinds of Q/D options on both sides of the rifle.
7.Charging handle can be flipped left or right, up or down.
8.Great fit and function, and is very easy to figure out. Rear upper pin hangs slightly when in out position.
9.Trigger is 100% better than SCAR and is very crisp. (Looks to be a standard AR style, might be wrong though)

Makes me want to buy one when they come out, how much do you think they will retail for?

on a side note will the civilian HK 416 every be available? I know it was comming out next year last year, and do you think there is any chance of HK just selling the upper by itslef?

Id get the ACR over the HK, I actually wont own a HK ever 9even though they make a badass .45) because they screw over to many hard working american companys. for ex: ATI the makers and importers of the GSG-5 wont be able to sell any more after jan 2010, hk went out and sued them because it looked to alike w/ the mp5. just bullshit. Hk has lawsuits w/ 23 more country's world wide being settled as we speek.
fuckin nazis.
Good read-   http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=6&f=41&t=291774

ATI imports the gun from GermanSportGuns. That's what the GSG in GSG-5 stands for.

You mean you're mad because HK defended their intellectual property?

How about you go come up with something novel (unlikely) and then how about I copy it and make a bunch of money off it and not give you any?

Stay in your lane, Ace.

H&K is rumored to have a working model of the MR556 at the Shot Show and be available for sale around April. It has also been said that the pin locations should be in the standard AR configuration after everyone complained about the MR223's pin location being moved as to not use the upper on other AR platforms, namely full auto lowers. This is apparently from creditable sources but we really wont know until the shot show if any of this is actually true or not. As for the uppers I would think they would start selling after enough time passes to make money off of the complete rifle, but this is HK and they arent exactly predictable, unless it's high prices and long waits.

BTW Ace, they did it so Umarex could sell thier HK branded HK416 and MP5's in .22 caliber.

Hk has not even produced the Mp5 for a shit load of time and now that they won the lawsuit they are going to make rebranded gsg's in .22, thats bs. I love the HK usp .45 and have shot my hunting buddy's plenty of times but I wont buy one or support them, EVER.

I thought ATI made thermal and night optics?

So HK  "screwing over to many hard working companies" even though all ATI did was pay for shiping and slap their name on the box and sell an imported gun?

the amazing thing about this is that he's a 15 year old who wants to have a Skyline imported and shoots his buddies with a .45 ACP during the night.

Robby, there should be an MR556 at SHOT.  I'm planning on attending the live fire demonstration, and HK will likely have one of these available.

There are alot of other [more useful] items making a debut at SHOT this year, though, and the MR556 is about as close to the bottom of my list as you can get.

I was saved from buying a tan frame HK45 only by the fact that HK has not released them yet.  Had they been available when I was interested in buying one (about 2 years ago), It would still be sitting in my office while I continue to shoot my 1911 and Glock 19.
