Please be aware of the legal issues with minors playing airsoft, and airsoft in general. And please, for the love of god, do not go to a park and play airsoft, even if your gun is flaming pink.

ya theres a big area behind the park and ive gotten permission from the recreational manager and cops and im allowed to airsoft back there because stray bullets wont go far enough to hit people from that area

i really hope your not just saying that... if you did jump through the hoops. excellent. but if your just saying that to avoid getting flamed on the forums your looking at this all wrong. We do this for safety and the longevity of the sport. one mess up can ruin it for us. please done be "that guy"

I hate agreeing with this guy but, if you don't have an official letter head from 'the cops' and said recreational manager, permission don't mean shit. Just chill for a few years, wait your turn like most of us did and then have fun.

I think I speak for most when I say it would be preferable that you don't play within city limits. Whether you have permission or not, there's always a chance that somebody without eye pro will wander in or you'll give somebody a scare and they'll call the police.

If you're located in Scottsdale, you're not all that far from Four Peaks. It's at most a 20-30 minute drive and it’s much larger than anything you'd find in the city.
Well worth the drive.

This topic has been beating to death, stabbed, shot, and the grave has been pissed on. As far as the city limits thing goes..I even drag my ass out to four peaks for testing some of my newest creations partly because I need a few hundred open yards and because i have annoying neighbors..

I'm not saying you're lying. My point is, whether or not you believe its okay to airsoft there, it is always a safer bet to go to a more remote location to avoid any risks.

I can't force you to do anything, all I can do is suggest. As members of this community, we're just trying to lookout for you.

I'll stop getting your thread off topic now. Shoot me a pm if you have any questions about airsoft AOs.

Although I do agree with everything they have all said, if you're not up for the 20-30 min drive (or you can't get a ride) then always feel free to ask if you can set up signs on days that you are having the skirmish saying that you are there. Then tie an air horn on it so that if people go by they can blow the horn... still be vigilant though because when we (BDAS) had a practice skirmish down at our field in city limits, people riding horses didn't blow the horn. Luckily we weren't in the middle of a war and we saw then soon enough to make sure not to shoot.

Sorry to get off topic, but as with everyone else on this topic, I'm trying to give you enough help to stay out of trouble.

If you ever want to have a skirmish, though, shoot either Bully Dog Airsoft or I a pm.
