The gimicky blow back is prone to failure, depends on how much you take apart the gearbox, otherwise it's a very solid gun and very well priced.  G&G guns never cease to amaze me.  Their old generation guns sucked dick, but their newest guns are some of the best guns I've owned, period.  We have several G4's here in NE that see heavy use, they have good ROF, decent stock FPS and they are pretty accurate and have good range.  In general, it's just a good gun.

Ive read several reviews on the "g" series airsoftgi guns. For their price, they are soposed to be a  fantastic gun. They have great internals and will not fail you for a while For That price. The rails are soposed to be "elite". But the gun body is abs/plastic. The only downside.

They are not High brand full metal Lipo 4ever guns like KWA, G&P, etc.

If that gun is in your budget then the G4 series are a Very good gun to own. It will serve you many kills. You can get a JG and Dboys for roughly the same price and are not as well built as the G4 series

But if you have a budget slightly higher, then I would say get a higher qualitiy, Full metal lipo sustainability gun.

Lipo ready is a joke, KWA's are not as LiPo ready as you want to believe, the 11.1v they used to test theirs only outputs like 12 amps, which is WEAK in the world of LiPo's...  All guns are 7.4v LiPo capable, they output more "power" than an 8.4v Large, but perform about like a 9.6v mini.

First off, I accually own this gun and i bought it around a month ago. Over all i like the gun alot, it is the perfect weight, and fairly sturdy (i will explain fairly in a bit). Apon recieving the gun and the many other items i ordered i noticed that the flashhider was broken. Unlike other reviewers, i recieved a plastic orange standard birdcage flash hider. All except the threads had broken during shiping. The second thing i noticed was that the upper and lower reciever were not flush on the left side. Not a big problem, but it looks nicer flush. Also i do believe the body is some sort of a polymer, either way it is very solid. On to the rails.

I like the rail system because it has a unique look to it, even though i covered them, but two things poped up. First off, with my order i ordered a Gaurder Ergonomic Vertical Tactical Foregrip (very nice grip). It is one of the foregrips that has two pressure pad slots on the side and a battery compartment with a tiny nub on the top, that screws into the base. Because the rails have a channel in the middle, the nub isnt able to catch on to anything therefore slides freely back and forth. To solve this i took a cleaning rod and cut it in width lenght pieces to fit through the pin hole on the side of the grip and tightened the battery compartment. !! dont tighten all the way, it will bend the pin and be very hard to get out !!. Lastly, a few days after my first game with it the rail system began twisting around the barrel. I took it to APD and they found that one of the screws holding it to the body was stripped, no big deal, they replaced it and fixed it for $15  :?

Last thing i have to say about this gun is they cronoed* mine at 400fps instead of the labeled 350. Not a problem for me though.  :D

Overall i like the gun alot now i just need to buy the last few accessories that i want.

I will try to load up my pics, but i have never done anything here.

P.S. if anyone has any questions just pm me i might get back to you.(lol i rarely goto this site)

I was looking at the G4-A3 blowback Series then i decided against for the simple reason already stated, its just another thing that can go wrong, not to mention it allows dirt and debris into the gun when being fired. I instead went with the Echo 1 stag 15 M8A3, Not trying to change your mind, just offering my take on the post.
