I'd be down for setting up a game in a week or so in the Mesa area. I know an AO in that's been used before for plenty of airsoft games. As far as I know, the property has the "ok" to airsoft on. Someone held a large local OP there a couple years back.

If anyone's interested let me know, we'll get our ducks in a row and plan something out.

It's located roughly on Recker and Thomas rd. It's in Mesa, but that's a 15 minute drive for those in Gilbert, so not far at all.

Anyone who can and would want to set up a game there, sound off.

No. Most of us have never meet each other and to have a kid (yes im 17 still a kid i know but closer than 13) come down here and play I am not too sure. And the whole idea of having "your friend" borrow one of our guns is most likey a no sorry to ruin your idea.

How do you know?  It's within city limits and therefore risky. A better idea would be to drive a little further out of town so you won't attract needless attention and place airsoft in a bad light with the general public. There are plenty of legal areas for you to "play" in, you just have to get there. Local patches of desert and local parks/neighborhoods are very poor choices to utilize airsoft in.  The more people respect this fact, the better off airsoft will be in the future.  If we all cannot perform this simple task, then we can expect regulation to pursue...

Four Peaks is easy to find - take AZ-87N until you see a sign that says 'Four Peaks ->' and then turn right there (east).

Follow that access road back, taking a right at the t-junction about 2.1mi in and follow that approximately 5 miles until the road descends and you are in a clearing.

After a quick search here...viewtopic.php?f=106&t=18359&p=154959&hilit=4+peaks+ao+directions#p154959

AO is Four Peaks Recreation area. Located approx 15 miles north of the intersection of Shea Blvd and Hwy 87 (Beeline). Big sign that says FOUR PEAKS RECREATION AREA marks where to turn off. Turn right and continue down the dirt road (cars okay) for 2 miles. Pay attention to your odometer because the next turn is hard to see. At the 2 mile point, turn right. Continue down that dirt road for another 4 miles.

When you get there it is very important to stay to the North of the cattle pins and water storage tank. Do not shoot your AEGs or do any playing south of that line or you will cross into a no firearm area and will be in violation per the Tonto National Forest. Now days they specifically have included airsoft with their firearm restrictions. Hence some of these laws I was talking about earlier have already started....airsoft comes with responsibility, be smart and play safe.
