All this is wonderful news to me. I do agree $20 for 4 hours is way over priced, depending on their hours I plan to stay for at least 6-8 or even more. I really don't and wasn't planning on spending $40 to play for the day.

I do agree, it hurt a little inside when i heard 20 for 4 hours. Marauders' Statewide assault arena was 20 for 8 hours, but still Vanguard DID go all out and it should be incredible. But still... 20... 4 hours...

I really like CQB indoors. From the 80's-on, I've played at several indoor Paintball and Airsoft places, here, Tucson, and Las Vegas. ALL went belly-up inside of a year's time.

Vanguard's taking a big leap here. -The trick is to get a steady flow of regular players. Nothing sucks more from our side of this than to travel many miles to play there, only to find two or three opponents. They have a big electric bill as well as monthly square-foot lease fee and salaries for the employees. -Add in insurance, etc.. It's a Hard Dollar.

I love this kind of game enough that I plan to be there at least three weekends a month. I would hope that there's a core group of players that can decide on a day and time to all get together and rock out. My work leaves me free on any Sunday and every other Saturday.

Believe me, 20 bucks a session plus 10 extra for another is a good deal. It's a bottom-line price for something like this to stay in business.

it seems to me when ever theres a price to be set for a arena people always want to complain about the pricing...if you want to play a free game drive out to the desert and have some fun....but for a place of this nature to be where its at, its ganna cost money so they can make a profit...if you feel thats not fair and that they are capitalistic bastards than theres no need to play there...i can wait till this place opens up so i can play a real legitimate field!!!  =D>  =D>  =D>

I agree, and i'm not necessarily complaining. I understand they need to make a profit, but $20 for 4 hours.....That's over the top, I wouldn't mind the $20 for 8 hours. That makes more sense. Whether or not they are expensive, I will still go and will go religiously due to me loving the game. If you love the game, you need to make a sacrifice to enjoy it.

That's the spirit Ocean. -Go a few times and see how intense it is! A good game with 20-or-so players dukin' it out in a big maze will leave you sweating. A few hours of it is satisfying to many people.

Also, think of the gas you save (especially the East-Siders)..

Anyway, try it and see if in-your-face gunbattles are your thing, too

Saving gas is a big thing for me. I'm lucky enough to be about 300 yards from this place.

Hope to see a bunch of you guys out there.
