Well just played there with a few people. We were there for a preview and to help them train the staff. Field is fucking amazing. Top notch. You could tell they were getting used to running airsoft games, but by the end of the night they worked out most of the kinks. Brian and the staff are very accomadating and I can't wait to play there on a regular basis.
On another note, Steelworks who is "sponsored" by vanguard was supposed to be there, and we didn't see any of them...
But anyways, just glad to get the exclusive sneak peek. You can all be jealous now.
Yea it was nice playing with you guys. I was the guy with Marpat by the way. The field is amazing, but personally after playing tonight I can see it will be very confusing when a lot of people are playing. We played games with 5 on 5, 6 on 6 maybe, but most of them were smaller games and it was still a bit confusing trying to tell who was on what team. I personally like the semi auto game in the beginning. I didn't like the full auto as there were too many richochets. The field is a good field but the guys who I play with have a rule where we call eachother out within 15 ft and that's all I could think about when playing there so I was a little hesitant on shooting at that close.
You could tell the staff wasn't used to running airsoft games, but as the night went on they worked everything out. The staff is pretty lucky to have bright shirts or they would have gotten shot a lot. The staff is trying to figure out a way to tell what team is which. I was shot by teammates at least twice. If they don't figure out by the weekend and you have any ideas, I'm sure they will listen. We gave them ideas like tape on the arm, different color masks, camo vs non-camo, and a few others. Can't remember them all.
I plan on going there when there isn't a lot of people, so on weekdays. I had fun tonight even though I know I won't like CQB as much as field play. And where was steelworks? I know a few of us wanted to play them.
