« on: March 29, 2010, 09:26:34 PM »
Just wanted your input on the Ads for May 1rst op. Been working on some designs on my own but would like an outside opinion. Also, Making a ton of general purpose flyers to raise overall awareness for the yuma area.So what ideas do you guys have?

I don't think there are enough adult airsofters in yuma for flyers to produce any result. Plus, where would you post them? gun stores? big 5? I wonder.

Been trying to raise awareness in the Yuma area for the last couple months along with the quality of play. The old wolf pack is no longer together, and the remaining people who play are getting better with different game types. We are trying to be more professional in gear and game play while still having as much fun as possible. We mainly play night games at either Jackrabbit pass in town, or Kinter,AZ and the quarry. If anyone is interested we go out at least twice a week, and you can message me on here for game times and types.

We are working with several game variations now, from regular types such as; team death match, attack & defend, and capture-the-flag to more specialized ones such as Stalker, VIP transport, Juggernaut, Gauntlet.

We are distributing fliers to gun stores, convenience stores, big 5 etc, as well as a word of mouth campaign and advertising out at the college.

I never saw any of that stuff. I would like to check out what you guys are doing. PM me with an invite to something so I know when and where. Have you checked out Yuma Lakes area? It is sick!! way better than jackrabbit pass for sure, which IMO is too close to town and could cause some problems as it is restricted federal property. BE CAREFUL.

I guess the scar and M4 aren't cool anymore eh dismount? We should play though for sure. I just built a sniper, finished my crazy mosfetted CQB AK74, and I'm getting a mod5 to mess around with too. I also replaced my shitty m11a1 with a KWA NS2 version....look out Yuma airsofters!

Nice equipment. Anyway, most of our games at this point are night games at Kinter. We usually play anywhere from 9 pm till 2 or 3 in the morning depending on the conditions. And we go out Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Yes, I will be checking out VIP with some friends in about a month with two new guns...and some friends too. I am busy with racing right now, but we are planning a trip to Phoenix when I get back from NASA nationals in Utah. I will keep you posted on an exact date when we decide and we can all meet up and make an entire Yuma team!. I think dismount wants to come too.

OK cool, the VIP website is still pretty baron. I take it I need a full face mask right? Does it have to be a hard one piece mask like for paintball or can it be sealed goggles and a face shield two piece combo thing? What are the FPS restrictions? Those are pretty much the only things I was curious about for VIP. I was just going to call them sometime. I guess I might try Kinter tomorrow night; steelclan said they are playing Wednesday night so...Time to go buy some BBs for the AK and some batteries for my flashlight.

I recommend a full face mask but they do allow the goggle and face shield combo.  I do recommend wearing a beanie or something because i got cut on my scalp a few times.  FPS I believe is >330 with .20.
