Question on camo
« on: April 22, 2010, 04:07:08 PM »
Well, I already found everything I need to buy pretty much. However, I was shopping for maine. Since I'm going to be moving out to Phoenix I would like an idea on what works best out there.

I know from experience shopping for maine environments that you can't just assume. I figured woodland would be best up here but multicam actually works best.

Also vest colors. I'm assuming tan or coyote brown but I don't know.

Multicam is your best bet.  Obviously, a Multicam vest would blend in better than a solid colored vest, but if you are on a budget, Coyote Tan works quite well.

However most of the time games are divided by camo pattern so I would get at least a desert and a woodland until you make friends and decide what team to run with. Gear color makes little difference.

On somewhat of a budget considering I'm going to be moving and all. If I go with desert marpat and coyote brown would that work well?

I can always get multicam at a later date. Just trying to save a bit of cash for now.

airsoftgi and evike both sell CB gear.
Weaponblender has a lot of good stuff (atlas brand = piss poor) at great prices.
ebay is a good source of stuff too. lol.

i'm going to say go with airsoftGI..

my last couple orders with airsoftpost/evike have been complete and utter failures, don't even waste you're time with them... i mean, do whatever you want but that is just my suggestion. ill PM you my setup i got from AGI if you want, they have alot of neat stuff there.

DESPAT and CB FTW. ;)

AirsoftGI sells CB gear? Is that in store? All I see on their site is od/tan/black/off-brand mc.

if you want legit CB gear look at places liek blackhawk.com or diamondbacktactical.com any US made tactical gear actually has CB, the airsoft retailers like airsoftgi and evike sell Coyote Tan, which IS different from CB.
