Could anybody give me exact directions like on Mapquest because the Mtt website doesn't really help.

Ill have a convoy to the AO for people that do not know the way. If any of you would like to skip the rally point and go straight to the AO that is also fine with me.

Also, please let me know what team you will be playing on so i can keep a running roster.

Thanks guys

gotta get those post counts up!  8)

this game will be hard-pressed to hit the standards BGA set for the four peaks AO, i dont think i have ever played a game at that AO that was as well organized and utilized the area in the way that op did.

even in the shadow of idaho, hopefully it will be a good time.

i personally think that the posts are too slow for this op and when it gets closer to the game time people will find other better things or games to do...i hope not but lets see if im wrong...

i mean i would want a good almost full roster by now and for how many pages this topic has but its still very slim list

I am going to show up with two friends, but I need to buy camo and my friends need to decide which team we are going to be on. I know one has woodland camo, but the other has at least desert and i have none.

Do we have to wear military uniforms or can we just dress in all tan or all green.

duuuuude. as a moderator/poster on multiple communities, i have seen my fair share of double posting..

but a triple?! that is the first in a while.. there is an edit, or modify button.. you can use that to add content to your previous reply. generally, it is considered good forum etiquette to not "double post" in the same thread, instead you should edit your previous posts to include what your subsequent additions would have contained

as to your original query, i usually wear all tan dickies, with my boots and tac gear. it has never been a problem, i'm sure you can get away with doing that as i do.

but..i mean, don't wear like, khakis and a tan tshirt... i would recommend a dickies long or short sleeved work shirt, and a pair of dickies work pants, they are about 15$ each at wal-mart if you really do not want to invest in a battle uniform at this point in time

of course, this is all speculation, the event organizer may say otherwise.

You don't have to be in a military uniform. All that matters is that you are in easily distinguishable between tan and green.

I've got you and your friend down for tan. Please advise as soon as you know if and what team he will be on. Thanks.

Mark me down for green(fleck)

If anyone needs camo, I have a set of US woodland BDUs you may borrow.  Will fit 5'10" ish, 180lbsish.

Also, I will need a ride to the AO from the rally point.

EDIT: grammar/structure

There will be vehicles that can give you a ride.

For uniforms, we do want you wearing protective gear, as there are alot of cacti, and other plants that will snag you. As Carbon had said, you should go with wearing dickies, or even wearing camoflauge utilities.

I have a couple extra pairs of camoflauge. I have med reg woodland and desert MARPAT. I also have a pair of DCU's. If you need a pair of camoflauge to borrow, please PM me.

oh, carharts work good too. i've used those before, i have plenty since i use them for work as well. those would give you more then adequate protection, but i wouldn't advise just going out and buying a pair.. you would be better off spending the money on a battle uniform
