of the 3, i would reccomend the echo1 m8, however, in your price range (and your apparent want of a cqb gun), i reccomend forking out the extra 20 to 30 bucks and get one of the asgi series g4s. the g&g combat machine m4s are ultra reliable, and asgi includes tons of stuff for what your paying. my personal favorite would be the g4-silent death. if your looking to compete at say airsoft playground, cqb az, or something of that sort, buy a kwa or my personal favorite G&P (ftw!). both of these manufactures are going to give you OUTSTANDING proformance out of the box.

It depends on what type of games you are going to be doing, because if you were doing a lot of long range you might not want to buy a cqb weapon. Also the m4 is the easiest gun to find stuff to upgrade it with, but the 36c is pretty easy to find parts for too.

I like the first one, the echo one, because echo one has really good gearboxes that will not break.

I disagree with you, Ive had very bad luck with Echo 1. And Ive seen Echo 1s die on their first day of play. Although, some of their stuff is amazing, for example the master series mk5 and platinum m4.

For the money you can buy an ICS M4 pistol, they are 200 on asgi without a stock or battery, but they are great guns IMO.

Echo 1 guns are a great starter platform. I usually recommend their G36C. They're solid performers and tough little guns. Plus, they're fairly cheap.

That being said, if you're looking for an m4 style instead, the G&G Combat machine mentioned before is a pretty good gun even without any upgrading. Cost is a little higher, but they're quite nice.

The ASGI G4 Series are Combat Machines with upgraded externals... and they're definitely very nice as well.

MLA Pro: I like the guns you haver reccomended but... I have heard that a blow back aeg will tear up your gearbox really fast??? Does the battery you reccomended fit the Combat Machine Blow Back M16 Carbine Airsoft Gun, because it looks like it would go in a crane stock. Also i should have mentioned i am planning on going to the new Vanguard indoor playground when it opens and the fps limit is 330.
And i was think about Echo1 mostly because of the 30 day warrenty. Will the guns you have reccomended will 100% out last this warrenty?

polar airsoft team: I like the Silent Death series but it out of my range for not having a a battery and charger. And like i said to MLA Pro, will blow back AEG tear up the gearbox fast and will these guns out last the Echo1 warrenty if i get enough money.

combat machines blowback system is air powered, rather than mechanical or tow spring, it is purely asthetic and has no effect whatsoever on proformance or reliability.

also, batteries that are included with echo1 and other cheap manufactures are terrible.  they will malfunction. sooner rather then later.  the chargers are slow, trickle chargers that will only break your battery faster.

i had another one of asgi g4 series, the g4-18 cqbr. it was a flawless gun and performed every duty i needed.  oh and it shot over 65,000 rounds before i stripped the piston. thats almost unheard of as far as reliability goes.

That's not that uncommon for a stock high end gun.

True, but it is a little more uncommon for guns in the high $100's to low $200 range. (I know, I know, the ICS pistol will do that and fits that price range).

That was my point, not specifically the ICS although yes, they will.  The Sportlines from high end manufacturers (G&G. ICS, etc) are still made with better tolerances and QC they most Chinese guns.  They also don't do stupid things like run 120 springs out of the box and shoot 450fps which also greatly helps out the reliability.  I've got a G&G Combat Machines as well and if you read my review on ASR, you will see I'm quite pleased with that as well.  I haven't touched a thing on that internally yet.  I've loaned it out a few times and it's still going strong.

Sorry, i should be more specific, i was running a 10.8 ni-mh and an 11.1 volt lipo.  when the 11.1 died, i threw in the 10.8 and charged the lipo.  it was almost always using the 11.1, I could be wrong, but i was supprised how long the gun went without needing replacment parts.
