Echo1 Stag 15 M4 Carbine battery compartment

My brother got the Echo1 Stag-15 M4 Carbine yesterday and we tryed to put the battery in the way the manuel showes but it use wouldnt fit so we put it on the side. The hand guard was bulging out alittle because of it... Today we took out the battery to charge and i was woundering if any body could help me figure out how to put it in right.

Hi, I have the same gun as you and the way I put my battery in is the bottom half of the grip thing. How I do it is I take both parts of the grip off then I plug the battery in the top half then I put the top half of the grip back on then I take the battery and turn the back half of it towards the front of the gun by the back of the battery I mean the opposite side of the battery that the chord is comming out of and then I turn the gun upside down and put the bottom grip back on.  If you want the battery in the top just reverse the directions.  Let me know if this helps. There seems to be a rail at the bottom of the bottom hand guard that doesnt leave enough room for the battery to fit. The battery is flush with the top of the bottom hand guard leaving no room for the barrel to go into it at all.

2 things:
 
1st: You guys should pay more attention to grammar and spelling.

2nd: What battery are you using? The stock 8.4v or a 9.6? These guns are designed for an 8.4 which is dumb, but in order to use a 9.6, you need to use a dremel with a sand paper attachment to shave down the bottom a little bit, at least thats what i had to do with my KWA KM4-A1. But I use a lipo  now inside a peq15 box on the outside of a magpul moe handguard.

Weird, its meant for the gun. I dont know why it wouldnt fit.

Easy solution that worked great for me:  Get a delta ring and a Magpul PTS MOE handguard.  Plenty of space in that thing. (I prefer it over a PEQ box)

Other than that, it's a really tight fit in there if you don't place the battery wires the right way.
