Hi Kevin.

Evikes Customers are always number 1 to Evike, we are also upgrading the software at the website to have better inventory control.
So does that mean when I see an item on the website that is not labelled Out of Stock, or if one of your service reps says that an item is in stock when I call to check the availability, that the item really will be in stock when I make the purchase? All of the orders I have made with Evike so far have had an item go on backorder, even when verified by an employee over the phone.

Are there any plans to reduce processing time? Processing orders between 4 and 6 days is slow compared to your "standard" of 1-3 days. Your competitors are consistent on having orders shipped out in 2 days or less.

Paying $9.59 for UPS shipping on a small order is reasonable. Paying $9.59 for UPS shipping on a small order and then receiving the package through USPS is not. Please find a way to not charge us $9.59 for postage stamps.

Thanks.

i actually could not have said this any better...

it's even worse when you order an item, have it backorder, then change the order, and wait two weeks for the changed item to come...

wait, it still hasnt shipped!

I've heard bad things about Evike, but I've never had anything bad happen to me personally- my transactions with them have always been stellar.

If my order is on back order, they get it to me eventually or I cancel it.  It's understandable that their website might not be up to date, but I've only had this happen once.  I've also never had a screw up order, or a mis-ship.  I've never had the UPS-USPS deal mess up, and their customer service is always easy to work with.  Their prices are low, and they have a great selection.

I guess everyone's experience is different, but I've always had good experiences with Evike, so I'll continue shopping there until there's a reason for me not to.

It seems you have some questions that need to be answered.

Other misconceptions aside, I consider personal feedback, to be the greatest determinant, I even defended Evike's shipping/packaging time in the first one........ THEN I got screwed, and never returned. ASGI all the way.

No, it isn't understandable. When I buy something from Amazon that says "In stock", it's in stock. When I buy something from almost every online retailer (and every retailer I do repeat business beyond my courtesy 'second chance after the first time you piss me off'), and it says in stock, it is in stock.

I ordered from evike the first two times... both orders were fubar... I didn't get everything I ordered after months of emailing them about it, having part of the order ship and them having the audacity to try to charge me more for shipping because they screwed up and didn't keep the site up to date... and shipped part of my order without telling me the other part wasn't in stock, etc...

Happened twice.

It just so happened I couldn't find the part I needed anywhere else not too long ago (extended slide release for WE MEU). I ordered the one that said it was for my gun... it wasn't. Emailed them about it, no response. I ended up being able to ghetto rig the part to work... but I personally will never do business with Evike again after this. When the TITLE of a part says it is for a We MEU... it should work in a we meu. And when it doesn't for whatever reason (like how it was made for a hicapa and not an MEU), I should receive at the very least a response to my email about the part. At least I got the right number of pieces this time.

Third strike... now in a life and death situation, I will still not give any more money to these people. I don't care if I have to scrap a gun because it doesn't work without a part that is exclusively manufactured and sold by evike which is shipped out next day air and they pay me to take it. Until I get an extended slide release that is functional without me supergluing rubber onto it so that it will make contact with my mag's lever and lock my slide (what good is a release if the slide doesn't lock???)... no more evike.

I agree never again with Evike. I just Ordered a G&P Sentry from them. I have talked to 3 people who said the Item was in stock and would be shipped by friday at the latest.  It has yet to ship and has been 5 days since I have ordered.

Evike is a use "At Your Own Risk" type of place. I've had some good orders and some bad orders. We'll see about the current one.

Megastore?

It all depends what you want. For example, if you want a gun, and dont want to order from those 2 sites, Id order from Megastore. Or I would contact my local retailer and ask them if they would order the gun and i would buy it from them.

But for my personal preferences, I go to ASGI, ive had 2 bad experiences with Evike.

1st: Order didnt ship after a week and a half, no problem elsewhere with that order.
2nd: That whole out-of-stock deal. Luckily, they refunded my order.

Although Evike has more specialty stuff, I love ASGI.

I didn't say I'm never ordering from Evike again. Although I'm not making another order with them until I get the item I have on backorder. I am glad to hear Evike is trying to make improvements. They have good prices and a wide selection.

Getting items that are defective right out of the box or repeately getting the wrong item is unacceptable, which is why I won't ever order from ASGI again.

I haven't had any problems with Red Wolf Airsoft. Shipping is usually around $25 since they're in Hong Kong. I don't mind paying extra in shipping considering they get my orders to me on time and without incorrect or defective items.
