just played there today. i don't even need to wash paint off my gear it was nice and dry even when going prone.

Awesome. Glad to hear it. Like I said, haven't been there in a while and was just wondering.  :)

Two more screenshots I could not upload. 10 file limit!
These are shot from the top of the tower. Sweet view of the urban zone. Next weekend I will get some of the brush zone hopefully.

it has been proven in history that for a group to survive its government must be over thrown from time to time. my fear is that this will come to our lands way to soon.

Since when did cow town let you airsoft? I searched their whole website and I didn't see anything about it.

If you still believe that airsoft is for 18+, you haven't played in America.

It's totally new and really great. Low admission fee, lots of space to play (Multiple games running on different parts of the field? What?! Awesome) water, foods, shade, misters.

I would consider $5 a low admission fee.. but $15? not so much.. for open pick-up style games at least

The admission charges are:
General Admission - $15 per person
Groups of 7 or more - $10 per person <---(it behooves all of us to bring everyone we can)

This field is by far the best I have seen in a long time. The pricing is the initials that were created and may change over time, but we will see how popular it is. The more popular it is, the more we have to work with.

With a ton of support for this field we can begin to have Official Milsim's hosted. We are also working on getting some basic merchandise there. Say you run out of BB's or need Green Gas we will have that. That is all in the works.

Thanks for the support everyone and lets make this a success,
Josh

well when we come out, we come out in numbers.. you should just have a "steelworks price", since we're so awesome and all that.. ;)

the field is looking good, I just don't have the best time playing with ~20 players, so paying $10 doesn't make logical sense for me :P

that being said, most of us loves mil-sims.. as long as the roster is healthy and the op is being run by coherent capable individuals, then I wouldn't mind paying a little.

again that's just me, I'm a cheap bastard LOL

I find it ironic that guys pay hundreds of dollars for gear and guns but complain about a entrance fee to a game to actually use all that stuff...

Either way I might be in +2 once I hear back from a couple people.

how so? the best games I have been to were organized in public AO's with no entrance fee.. what I'm saying is that for the money, I would have very high expectations.

when I spend money on equipment, I like to get my moneys worth. why should games be any different?

None the Less Homer has a point, Unless the entrance fee is 40 or above i probably wouldn't have a problem with it. Black hawk down was pricey and well worth the cash
