If anyone is in the East Valley, CoF is heading out from the Queek Creek area at about 2:30-3:00 if you are interested in caravaning together.

Pics of the campground area are attached.  Group site camping area at Sharp Creek Campground.

Directions:
Sharp Creek is easy to find.
Head North on SR-87 to Payson.  When you get to Payson turn Right (East) on SR-260 just past McDonalds.
STAY ON SR-260 Approx 23 miles.   GO PAST CHRISTOPHER CREEK.  As soon as you are past the turns for Christopher Creek look for the SHARP CREEK CAMPGROUND.  It is located on the South (RIGHT SIDE of the road) there is a large brown and cream colored USFS sign.

Staging area for the AO will be in the GROUP SITE at Sharp Creek Campground.

Follow campground signs for the group site.

As you can see from the photos, there is not too much overhead shade in the parking/camp area.  It would be advisable to bring an ez-up for shade if you have one, just in case.

Good game all, glad to see you all out there.  Let me just be the first to say (on the forums):  Stupid hill.  I still enjoyed it though.

Also, on the SLIM chance someone found it, I'm missing the black plastic cover for the doctor sight on my ACOG.

All I took were some random shots around HQ during lunch and what not.  Pictures are here: http://photos.xaviermace.com/GalleryThumbnails.aspx?gallery=393092

My favorite:

I think that explains the troop deployment completely.
