So i was reading into the itinerary and thought i might make a suggestion.

It says Guerillas have timed respawn...2mins at first and turns into 4mins if Al Khaled is killed.

US forces can respawn by touching the spawn point by staging area or pump station, and helicopter.  No timelimit though.

I think since the Op is on "Guerilla" occupied area, shouldn't US forces have a time limit for reinforcements?  And guerillas have a touch to spawn point(s) on thier side as well?  Scenario seems a bit one sided...in my opinion...that's just me... just my 0.02 cents...

My money says that 50% of the US forces drop out by the end of hour 3 from running back and forth to those points though (I admit judicious use of the helo may compensate some for that running).  While I agree some of the content seems to need some fine tuning to make it as interesting as possible to both sides I think the spawn rules will end up favoring the guerillas in the end based on fatigue factor.  Just my thoughts though...

Yeah you got a point.  I'm sure we all have our opinions, too. Like you said kiley, the game will probably get fine tuned during game play to accomodate. Either way...I'm really looking forward to the event.  it'll be fun no matter what...usually is for me.  Be sure the green meenies give the US forces a good fight!

Originally, all US Forces were supposed to spawn at the Helicopter, but seeing as how some players didn't want to march all the way back to the helo if they were far out, I made those two spawns in case they were closer and didn't want to trek back to the copter.  The guerillas, although they have a timer, can respawn almost anywhere, giving them advantage in terms of positioning.

Using the helicopter is much to your advantage.

well, it looks like interest has diminished for this game since most of the guys have work or other matters to attend to, so i'll have to drop off of this one.

i think the six hour round trip is what i'll miss the most  :( heh, have fun guys

We've done this system at several of our JAG-X pickups.  The helo is admin run, so we can make any changes we need to at any given time.

Please have your itineraries read by tomorrow.  I will go over rules again during briefing but it's nice to have everyone on the same page.
Look forward to seeing you there.
