Black Hawk Down: Battle of Mogadishu Oct. 3 at Fighter Town

Marauders Tactical Training and Gearbox Airsoft are hosting a one day military simulation adventure game based upon the October 3, 1993 Battle of Mogadishu in Somalia.

BHD: Battle of Mogadishu is being held at Fighter Town Paintball and Airsoft Park on Oct. 3 from 9 am - 5 pm. The game will feature multiple missions, military vehicles and smoke grenades.

Participants can serve on one of two different groups, Task Force Ranger or the Somali Militia.

Task Force Ranger
Delta Assaulters (8 spaces)
(Must attend at least two MTT programs prior to the event.)

Rangers Chalks 1 & 2 (24 spaces)
(Veteran's of BHD or attend 1 MTT program prior to the event.)

10th Mountain Division (16 Spaces)
(No training requirement - 10th Mountain will play as Somali Militia during missions 1 and 2.)

General Public $40 registered at Gearbox Airsoft by Oct. 1.
General Public $60 at the event.
BHD Vets $30 registered at Gearbox Airsoft by Oct. 1.

I went to the last one and had a great time. Definitely a fun, fast paced event. Highly recommended!

Word of advice for the Rangers - Keep your security up! Don't let them flank you from the back or sides while you try to complete your objectives. Seems obvious but it will mean the difference between success or failure. Do not get overrun!

Thanks for the interest in the game.  Here are a few answers to some questions about the event.

Q What are the fps limits?
A AEG's must pass chrono at lower than 375 fps with .25 bb's (MTT will provide bb's during the chrono stage).  

Q What uniforms are allowed for Somali Militia?
A Any civilian style clothes are allowed.  We are trying to stay away from the PMC look.

Q Where can I register?
A Players will be able to prepay at Gearbox Airsoft in Tempe to save money.  Players may also email MTTStaff@gmail.com to coordinate other payment options if Gearbox Airsoft is too far.

Similar to the last BHD: Battle of Mogadishu, military veterans can attend the event on either of the Ranger chalks without attending MTT training events.

There will be at least one MTT training event held at Fighter Town prior to the game.
