Black Hawk Down: Battle of Mogadishu Jan 16 at Fighter Town

Marauders Tactical Training and Gearbox Airsoft are hosting a one day military simulation adventure game based upon the October 3, 1993 Battle of Mogadishu in Somalia.  BHD: Battle of Mogadishu is being held at Fighter Town Paintball and Airsoft Park on January 16 from 9 am - 5 pm. The game will feature multiple missions, military vehicles and smoke grenades.

Participants can serve on one of two different groups, Task Force Ranger or the Somali Militia.

Task Force Ranger
Delta Assaulters (8 spaces)
(Training Requirements - Must attend at least one MTT program prior to the event and the Ranger Training Day.)

Rangers Chalks 1 & 2 (24 spaces)
(Training Requirements - Military Personnel, Veterans, and Participants who attend the Ranger Training Day)

Marauders Tactical Training is hosting a series of training missions on, Sunday, Dec. 26 and Sunday, Jan. 2 at Fighter Town from 9 am - 4pm.
The event is designed to prepare players who will serve on Task Force Ranger at the January 16 milsim game, Black Hawk Down: Battle of Mogadishu.

About TFR Training Missions

Participants will complete a series of individual and fire team training exercises that include:
-Test of weapon safety and individual marksmanship
-Individual move and shoot obstacle course
-Paired move and shoot obstacle course
-Fire team room clearing obstacle course

Upon completion of the qualifying exercises, participants will complete a series of training missions against staff OPFOR to prepare for BHD missions. These training missions will include:

-Take down of target building and extraction of high value targets
-Team movement to helicopter crash site
-Introduction to vehicle operations and reacting to near ambush

BHD: Battle of Mogadishu is open to participants 15 and up.  Players younger than 15 can play with a parent or guardian who is actively playing on the same team.

Registration for the event will open this weekend at Gearbox Airsoft and Gold War at Fighter Town.  Those who sign up at Gold War will receive an extra raffle ticket at Black Hawk Down.

Don't forget that all Rangers (except military personnel and veterans) will be required to attend the MTT Task Force Ranger Training Missions to be a part of Task Force Ranger for the event.

My Girlfriend's coming to town, and that's actually the day before she leaves.  She's considering playing as a Somali, so I'm PSYCHED!!!
