Don't use the Rhinos as Cover either when their dead. That's what happened at the Gold War.

Or the refs....

Oh, and just a tip:  Either keep it 100% camo oriented teams, or give people some bright colored neon duct tape to put on their arms, back, and front.  And if you are doing it at night, then make sure to give everyone two large glowsticks, like the ones that are 6 inches long and fairly wide too.
This will be a day game so there will be no need for glow stocks. In a real situation you wouldn't have colorfull arm bands our glow sticks.
This is a milsim, that means its supose to replicate the real thing. Having to identify friendly from foe is something that happens on a day to day baisis. It is frustrating and we know this.

Then keep it camo-oriented.  It was extremely frustrating at gold war, I friendly fired many people, and I was friendly fired many times.  Having fun > Getting friendly fired because of "realism".

All of our games are "camo-oriented." As for friendly fire, that is going to happen when there is little to no communication among your team/squads. It happens, but it can be prevented by always knowing where the rest of your team is. This operation along with Gold War are Mil-Sim(Military Simulation) operations, not this team vs. that team...ok now go shoot each other games.

Communicate with your team and get things accomplished > Run around and shoot anything that moves.

Friendly fire won't be a problem as long as you listen to the briefing, pay attention to the command you are given, maintain communication, and keep within rank. You will not be at the wrong place at the right time to get shot from your team, unless your squad isn't doing things right.

Yeah, after all, there's never been a friendly fire incident in the military...

This just in, the world is not perfect.  People improvise, change decisions at the last second, and miscommunicate information.  If you think communication is going to eliminate friendly fire incidents you are delusional.  There is a reason the armed forces have set uniforms rather than something that blends in with the locals.

I mentioned, it wouldn't be a 'problem' as long as important steps were followed.
PROBLEM, as being, a continuing issue, like, over and over during the same game....
It is destined to happen to even the most prepared, yet it can be avoided to the point
of a minimal issue, where there's no need to complain.
Specific matching camo is obviously the way to go...

That is what I am getting at.  The camo at gold war would not let you determine between a teammate and an enemy.  And just like wolfspec said, plans do change, people get mixed up.  Nothing ever goes to plan, and sometimes, you may clear a house, and see someone in desert camo, when you were wearing ACU.  You shoot instinctively.  That was the problem with gold war, and it NEEDS to be camo oriented 100% no exceptions.

Sorry about this, but could you switch me over to the British Marines.  I only have a desert attire and I don't want to buy a new uniform.  Is a desert MARPAT alright?

Yes, that would be ok. It is the same thing as the mentioned USMC desert digital.
