Howdy all,
Hehe, what a day, huh? Mother nature was not kind to us for Lost Dog, but we powered through anyway. And I had an excellent time at this event.
PSC and the Epsteins. Congratulations on pulling off a successful operation, even in the face of adversity. You pulled it off boys, well done. And I had a lot of fun at this event.
I had fun getting my Russian on, made some new friends. And I even ran into an old friend that I didn't even recognize (John of DFA. Been a long time since Operation Oasis, back when we bumblefu*ked our way through the middle of Nowhere, Four Peaks with the world's mouthiest hostage). Hehe, good to see you again.
Boneman, that minigun was a sight to see. Well done on creating it man. I'll love to see you stomping around with that thing at Terminator: Prophesies as a T-600 (did I get the number right?).
And to Henry and the staff of Fightertown: Congratulations on a successful Field 5. Those World War 1 trenches really are up close and personal, hehe. I had a lot of fun pieing corners in those things. Very intense gameplay.
And last but not least, congratulations to all the players who braved the weather. I'm glad you guys decided to power through it, because it turned out to be an awesome game (especially once the sun came out). Great sportsmanship, and honest play by everyone. You guys played hard, and with dignity. Props to all of you.
Overall, I'm glad I came out to this event. And I'd definately do it again. Playing in the rain is actually a lot of fun, hehe. We should do it again sometime.
