Airsofter1 had mentioned it was a fun time and I was toying with going out there sometime just to like, copsim it up or something. :d

If I have to use shit BBs, I definitely won't go - I would only go to use one of my Escort guns and they uh, out and out won't function with shitty BBs like people are saying these are.

Vanguard; if you say these house BBs are the same quality as the BBs you sell....that is embarrassing.

To be honest your field is entirely too overpriced. Back home in Colorado, we payed 15 for all day (10 for military) and that was literally ALL DAY. You could get there at 0900 stay till midnight if you wanted to, and some of the best games happened at night. Seriously for the price of just ONE "vip" session, i could get field admission for all day, 2000 bb's and an energy drink.

I have to say, if you guys want to stay in business you need to seriously adjust your rates.

And don't even start with the profit margin bull, you'd make just as much, if not more because of how many more people could afford to come regularly. I shouldnt have to pay 1/5 the price of a new gun every time i want to play indoors.  ](*,)

Also, it would be a good idea to listen to the players, because of the amount of people here they could seriously hurt your business if they decide its not worth it to play there. Especially if the forum bands together and boycotts the field.

when i went, my guns were too fast so i rented a gun and had no issues. but, my friends had their guns and they were working good too, but idk why other people are having problems

They changed the field bb rule about a month after opening. Now you can bring all the ammo you want as long as you chrono with some of their .2's

I apologize that you all have had an unfortunate experience with our new BBs, however the new color is not a coating and is part of the plastic itself and therefore acts like many of the other colored BBs on the market.

We are aware that these issues occured the other day, but had no complaints prior nor since the past Saturday,  leading us to believe that alot of the issues were due to the storm and dust upset.

There are some Outdoor Airsoft fields that require bio-degradable BBs that have a reputation to jam and be inaccurate.

We feel that keeping in mind prices of commercial BBs, that our BBs are competitively priced as are our field prices. The price changes have occured because we have changed the amounts of BB counts sold.

We have chosen to change to the new custom BB color to ensure that players cannot sneak in BBs to maintain a level of safety. We cannot ensure that the BBs being brought in are 0.2 and we run the chances of players carrying in and using 0.25, 0.28 or 0.3 weight BBs which can be dangerous to our other players. And we aim to provide a fun and safe environment, which is difficult to do without a level of quality assurance.

We are staying vigilant to document any further magazine issues and are interested to hear about all of these concerns.

I understand the need for colored BB's. I also have no problem with you requiring In-House BB's, even if they are slightly higher priced than other BB's. That's not the big deal here.  If you look at your Green BB's, you can tell with the naked eye that they are made to low tolerances. You can see the seams from the molds, and the surface is not smooth/polished very well.  It's these seams and rough surfaces that are causing the BB's to get stuck in places they shouldn't.

I would recommend finding a different manufacture for your BB's.

Would you, or anyone else with the BB's (if you have any left) care to share pictures? If it can be seen with the naked eye, it should show up alright in a picture or two.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has noticed the serious ballistic inconsistencies with the new beans at Vanguard.  Fired from a WA Infinity 6.0 at ~40' they were registering groups more than 6" greater than Excel .20s.  That kind of deviation is just absurd.  I wasn't able to get decent comparative data with my MP5 due to feed issues.  I am however not yet willing to attribute the feed issues to the new beans.  What I will say that I noticed considerably more of the new beans being shattered by my mask and impacting my face than the prior stock.  Custom color is fine to maintain your margin, but for the love of god contract with a firm who has a line already delivering quality product.

What you could do is just have players chrono with your bb's. As weight increases, FPS decreases, but energy stays the same. Thats why some manufacturers just put the power of the gun in joules.

At least use BBKing BBs. They're sort of new and they're really hungry for business. I'm sure VIP could work out a deal with these guys. I know they can custom make BBs to your specs and colors. Prices for the materials to make the BBs has gone down, I know for a fact they lowered their prices for BBs because of this. I bet they would be really fair with VIP. I've heard nothing but good things about BBKing BBs.
