Question about Fort Adobe

Do they allow smoke grenades at Fort Adobe? If so, are there any restrictions?

Not sure about FT adobe's  rules on smoke grenades however i know when we hosted at Cow Town and now at Fighter Town we allowed them as long as it was an internal flame

I know they allow the staff to use them from time-to-time (they set them up in an open space), but I don't think they will let you use your own.  They have too much shrubery out there, so a fire could start quite easily.

Not sure about "cold burning" ones, though.  I highly doubt they'll even let you use those, either.

the answer is YES Adobe allow smoke grenades.  They prefer internal burning. But, as long as you are responsible and dont throw the burning gernade in a bush(STARTING A FIRE).  Then there ok to.

I use

there cheap

 Pull-String Smoke Emits   $2.99 + $4.99
1 minute of thick white smoke

I would ask before you make a buy

They provide a lot of atmosphere plus new possibilities for tactics in a game. Always cool when they're allowed.

For the smaller, regular skirmishes at say Fort Adobe (which is what you'll primarily be using them for Scrat, I imagine), they're gonna be cool, but next to useless. At a big event like Fort Adobe Massacre, they would be great. Throw one to cover your escape with the bomb! Man that would've been cool... Anyways, just your average game is too short to really justify use of smoke grenades if you ask me. Save your money for a better gun, BBs, tac gear, and FA admissions.  [smilie=armata_pdt_01.gif]

I believe the smoke whould be good for when, you are on offence, and have to get to the center, good distraction.

i'v used them before there simular to the smoke you can buy on 4th of july. they dont last a minute ill tell you that. and they shoot some seriously hot slag out of the buisness end. they work good inside things like the castles at adobe though not very well on a windy day

there were a few duds, you pull the string and eather the string broke, or it just didnt go off.

well for 2.99, what did you expect?  Military quality?  There is a few others, i want to try.  I figured for any good effect, you will have to use 2 or 3 at a time.  And i knew that.  You can put a pull fuze on any smoke grenade. easy.

In a few weeks i will do a thread on it.

What are their fps limits for AEGs and sniping? Also, what are their eye protection requirements?
