Let the economy show them the way. Stop buying their products, stop giving them your money. Find other places to play. Carpool to games out of the city.

When they are filing for bankruptcy maybe they'll consider listening to the customers next time around.

Hey, -Let's wait untill Shaun (Exarach) gets done testing Vanguards .BBs. Let's see what he finds out about them.
THEN we can bitch about the other stuff. Capisch?

My issue is as much with the way they are handling it as any potential issues with the BB's.  IF (and I stress if) there is no issue with the BB's then why couldn't they be bothered to test them?  Now they are effectively saying "we don't want to talk about it" which is usually the same thing I want to do when I'm wrong.

Actually, on this note, if anyone has extra Vanguard BB's they would be willing to donate to the cause, I have a friend going to gearbox, and he can pick them up this Saturday (4/2/11) if you can get them there.

I figured I would ask, as I know that some people must have some leftover pellets.

DMAN007 Is kind enough to be suppling the pellets for the first round of testing, and any of you who want to help out are more than welcome to throw your balls into the lot.  O:)

I can promise both serious, and some over the top testing that will make for some good reviews, and hopefully settle the "Vanguard BB myths" once and for all.

There will be moisture......... and flying grit.

Thanks! -EXR

Exarach and I are located in Tucson.  Unless someone gets us some pellets, we can't do jack.

I really appreciate it man. Thanks. It will allow me to run some more in-depth tests, without having to run all the way to vanguard. Definitive results to come.

I've got some left over BB's from about 4 weeks ago. I'll see if I can drop by and give them to you. I don't know how many BB's there are, but there's enough to still do some testing with them. The bag hasn't been opened since I last went to Vanguard.

Sweet! Thanks man, I really appreciate it.

Hopefully we will have enough to do some impact tests, and a more intensive dirt test with these!

No problem. I might also have some left over BB's they used to have, the white ones. I would never finish a bag and just throw them in my room so if I find a bag of those, I'll give you those ones too so you can compare those together.

Edit* I found a small baggy of the white BB's they used to sell. It was sitting in a box I got from ASGI a while back. Not much left, around 100 or so but hopefully it's enough to compare the two together.

Geez Shaun, this could end up being quite the racket to score free Vanguard BBs... You'll never have to pay for your own to play there!

Joking of course.

Impact testing is a good idea. After cleaning out my gun from the L4D event, I found a broken BB that fell inside the housing of my gun. Not sure what it broke on, but half the BB is now on my shelf.

I have a bag of about 200 left over. I'll drop them by gearbox if I get the chance.
