15x 16" Iowa Class Battleship Barrels for Sale

These are the 16"/50 caliber Mark 7 rifles off of Iowa Class Battleships.  237,175 lbs each!  3.6 million pounds of probably some of the best steel ever made.

You can click on the photos for a closer view.  Anyways, I found it interesting.

One piece at a time...

I had no idea they made so many of those barrels(390+), but that makes me wonder how many rounds each one could fire before wearing out.
