Wow!  Thought this would be a cool forum  to set up games (legal ones) against other AS teams, but not so.  Robert if ur reading this, don't create a profile.  Too many haters!  =;
If you explained that the field you play on is privately owned and it is legal to play at in the first place you wouldn't have received such a harsh welcoming. Basically if you follow the forum rules set up by the mods no one will hate on you, as you would say

You may want to do some research, regardless if it is private property or not.  If it lands inside city limits, you must abide by the laws of that city.  Take Chandler for example:
Quote
Non-Firearm Weapons (i.e. B.B. Guns)
Chandler City Ordinance 11-6

It shall be unlawful within the city limits for any person to have in his possession, carry or use, except within the confines of his domicile and premises, or encased, unloaded or in an otherwise inoperable condition, any air gun, B.B. gun, gas-operated gun, or spring gun or any instrument, toy or weapons commonly known as a "peashooter", "slingshot" or "beany" or any other instrument, including but not limited to bows and arrows, made for the purpose of throwing or projecting missiles of any kind by any means whatsoever, whether such instrument is called by any name set forth above or by any other name. Parents of children who have been found to be in violation of this section shall be responsible for any damage or injury done by such children to the person or property of others in accordance with the provisions of sections 12-661 and 15-446 of the Arizona Revised Statues, 1956.
Similarly in Glendale:
Quote
Glendale specifically states that any "pneumatic or spring projectile weapon" is illegal to fire within city limits.
What HavHav is saying is that Mesa/Gilbert may have laws specifically stating that a discharge of a firearm (yes, airsoft rifles typically fall under the same law) inside the city limits is prohibited.  Chandler law states otherwise since you are talking about private property.  Every city/county law is different, and there have been numerous discussions on this forum about the legalities of this great game we call airsoft.  This has nothing to do about maturity, or whether or not your buddy owns the property, which is perfectly fine.

Just be aware of the city ordinances.  All it takes is one neighbor to call 911 or one cop to see something suspicious and another anti-gun, anti-airsoft news special is broadcasted all over the state later that same night... leading to even more stringent laws.

Noone was hating you when you showed up and asked for a game.  A question was asked about the location and legality of the game because we don't want more negativity to the sport.  Relax for a minute.  Don't take it personal, and just see it from HavHav's perspective and maybe there'd be a little less infighting.

I'm kinda disappointed that I'm late to the "you're an idiot party".  I feel all empty inside now.

Lol.  Feel free to chime in!  No offense will be taken. (unless you use bad grammar, misspell words, or use 10 yr old language....at which point Exr will use his English degree to keep you in line [smilie=armata_pdt_12.gif] )

Economics degree actually. You don't need a degree to speak English like a normal human being. Just a brain.

Go play at Vanguard so I can make you look like an idiot on YouTube. Its better for airsoft in general, and I can get away with trolling on my own channel.

Instead of alienating yourself from the community through your stupid comments, how about you actually try to listen to what people are telling you, apologize, and take it into consideration.  In all honesty, it's just what we want to hear: that you're not endangering our sport.

@crono- Please do yourself a favor buddy and read ALL the posts before commenting.  Just because I don't play at Vanguard doesn't mean I'm playing illegally. As stated previously, the field is privately owned and no laws are being broken.  Yes, protect the sport, we've already established that, so happy ASing to you my friend! [smilie=armata_pdt_34.gif]

This is where those English skills you lack in would have come in handy. Crono didn't say anything in regards to the legality of your playing, and actually backed you up in a way to end this debate, by saying you were indeed playing safe, and thats all we wanted in the first place.

Perhaps you were too busy being a smartass to notice?

Let me help you understand:

LERN 2 REED nd Spl teh wrds

It will be hard at first, but as your tiny brain develops, higher and higher thought patterns will begin to emerge! Before your itsy cortex knows whats going on... BANG! Your learning with phonics!

Your self-defense trolling, and over-compensating nature will shift, and people will cease to look at you like a total F**kstick!

Here, read this:

Lol in good fun

Keep that ass covered

Keep playing in safe areas!

I just love reading theae imminent lock threads. Tis' good for the soul. Oh, and exarch is right. You arnt going to get anywhere with the attitude you have. Believe me, argueing with someone with as much experience as Exarch, especially when the points you make are mediocre at best, just makes you look like a moron.

)It is so funny how exr and his bff's (thats best friends forever exr) stick together, how sweet! I must be really getting to exr, seeing as how the name calling and insults have picked up.  You guys are more unified then I thought.  I admire that, really.  I feel honored that you all take so much interest and time to reply to my posts.  Thank you to all my AS brothers!
(exr, if you are wanting me to react negatively to your posts, its not going to happen.  There is no hate here.  Happy ASing buddy! [smilie=armata_pdt_34.gif] )

@kman-nice to meet you, welcome! [smilie=armata_pdt_12.gif]
