2 questions about Teams and Patches

Hey guys, I have 2 quick questions. Try to keep answers short, and to the point.
My first question is, what do you think about someone being on 2 airsoft teams? What about 3? What about more?

My second question is, What do you military men(and the rest of you), think about someone who is a minor wearing US Army, US Marines, US Navy, Etc. patches to airsoft events.

Not necesaraly ranks, just patches with the logo or name. What if their dad served in the military and gave them their patches?

If I saw someone wearing unearned badges tabs and patches it would take a lot for me to not personally rip them off myself.

You didn't earn those. Buy BDU's, cut the name tapes, service tape, patches, tabs, rank, off. I know I'm not the only one that feels this way.

Just send Doc Hollywood a PM about wearing the tapes.

If I give my son a 101st Airborne Division patch that I earned, that doesn't mean he can or should go sporting it around. If you want a customized patch with your team name, there are lots of resources for that. If you all want to run around with a 1st Armored Division patch someones dad earned, you are fixing for an ass kicking.

I see no problem with being part of more than one team, or being part of say, a local team and than being part of some type of conglomerate team. I do however, see a problem with wearing something you didn't earn. Many would find it disrespectful, say, if you were wearing an Eagle Globe and Anchor insignia and didn't rightfully earn it.

the question about the patches was not for me. My freind was wondering and I didnt have much of an answer for him. My dad hasnt served in the military lol .

I don't see any problem with somebody being on different teams. Its up to you to choose how many different groups or teams you want to airsoft with.

As for the Military patches I do see a problem with people wearing ranks and insignias they did not earn. I don't see a problem with people wearing them as long as they earn them but out of respect for the men and women of the armed forces, if you don't earn it don't wear it. Just my opinion. Granted not everybody that you see wearing the patches in the playing field earned them. Ultimately it's their choice but I don't wear them out of respect as I have not earned the right to wear them. I do understand if your parent who served gave you the patch and you think it's a cool thing, but at the same time you did not earn it, they did.
