Hey in the original event post it says pre-reg will be open till Friday June 11th, though I'm fairly certain the 11th is a Saturday. Just thought I'd point it out for anyone confused by that.  [smilie=armata_pdt_34.gif]

There is typically a hotdog vendor there during the day, but chances are they wont stick around late enough for a midnight snack. I wouldn't count on it, but who knows.

Just as a pre-event safety briefing.

Please bring the following:
Water: Just because its cooler at night doesn't mean that you don't need to hydrate.
Food: Don't count on being able to purchase food, bring some sandwiches or something.
Flashlight: Its dark, use your brain.
First Aid Kit: Just in case
BBs: Its a long OP, and its dark so I expect most of you will try to pop anything that moves....
Integrity: Call your shots, play fair, and have fun.
and
Good attitude: You will immediately be asked to leave if you start trouble, I don't get paid so I am not babysitting tempers.

Barrel covers are a safety issue.  Everyone on the property must have one on their weapon at all times when not on the field.  This is a safety issue and is requied by our insurance agency in order to have games at our field.  So please make sure that if you see someone without a cover, remind them of this safety rule.  And please make sure they are on your weapon before you enter the property.

Thank You
Henry at Fightertown

2 Questions:

Does the barrel cover have to be a designated one, like for airsoft/paintball? Or can you use random covers like a sock, glove, shoe? haha

And for the Semi only over 400fps, would a screw placed in the way of the selector switch(so no auto) would be allowed? or is the slecetor plate itself or mosfet are the only way to go?

Thank you

Henry may be able to clarify a little more, but it needs to be designed for it's purpose, to stop a bb/paintball at full muzzle velocity. Gloves and socks may or may not stop a shot or two from accidental discharge. Not to mention, they can fall off of the barrel which is no good.

As for the semi only, it must be done in a way that can not be reversed while on the play field.

The barrel cover needs to be a purpose made barrel cover.  This all has to do with inssurance compliance.  Nothing homemade can be used at the field such as paintball guns , grenades, mines and so on.  The reason for this is liability.  The maker of this equipment needs to take certain amount of liability in the products they make.  In short the inssurance company wants a big company they can go after if they have to pay out a large settlement.

Thank You
Henry
