This looks like a really good idea. It'd be great to get it here in Arizona

I wouldn't be able to participate for 2 more years, but it'd be cool for everyone else. And, in 2 years my team could compete.

What kind of A.D.D. game has 20 second respawns? Not my cup of tea, kind of makes me sick actually...too similar to commercialized paintball which is one reason some left for airsoft back in the day.

..Yeah.. -Think I.P.P.A from the 80's, which ruined paintball by taking it from a "game" to a "sport". pleh.

Ditto, being non-competitive and more towards mil-sim is why I play airsoft. The equipment is just an added bonus. But hey, if that's what you guys like, then go for it. Just means more public and therefore market focus on airsoft in the good kind of way.

Nice, can't wait to get a strong airsoft presence down here in AZ. BTW, pleasure to meet you guys, I'm new here to AZ, but an old vet from the Chicago contingent. Are you guys regular players, and recruiting veteran airsoft players here in the phoenix and surrounding areas.

Thanks,

JD

Thanks! Definitely looking forward to getting to know the local airsoft community and find my place. The one hobby that didn't carry with me after I moved was my AS gear and guns due to money taken to get me down here. However, I am piecing it back together and definitely want to attend and meet everyone here that's serious about airsoft.

Yeah -everyone will look so cute in matching camo Bowling Shirts!
How long before those of us who aren't "joiners" will be playing at "non-sanctioned" "Outlaw" fields?

don't like it... its a freakin video game. look at the guys on the homepage.. really? i dunno guys this thinking of airsoft as a "sport" if it succeeds will dictate everything you do in airsoft.. then at that point.. why dont you just stay home on the couch playing call of duty??
then at that point why the heck did you spend all that time and money??

give me coordinates and a map and ill take MY loadout that i built with my gps with my tools and my boonie cover and a shemagh and i will trek a mountain and sneak up on my target.. do that hiding behind a 55 gallon drum trying to figure a way of out maneuvering your opponent in a human rat maze.. lol no thank you

and really... honestly what the hell will this "association" actually do for your team??

they give you a number a rank and take your money.. if everyone wants to prove they are the best then hit ALL of the games and kick ass make yourself known by a real reputation.
