http://www.cabelas.com/headlamps-petzl-tikka-xp-2-headlamp-1.shtml?WT.tsrc=CSE&WT.mc_id=GoogleBaseUSA&WT.z_mc_id1=716001&rid=40&mr:trackingCode=7019DE51-F5D2-DF11-82EF-001B21631C34&mr:referralID=NA

I highly recommend picking up something similar to that.  That one is $55 from Cabela's, but Wal Mart at least USED to carry a similar one that was about $20.  The red light is bright enough to see clearly in the dark but dim enough not to blind your teammates when you look at them.  More importantly it runs for over 100 hours continuous or over 750 hours on pulse mode.  Quite a few of the guys I used to play with used them all the time.  It's pricer than a bike light but it's far more convenient.

Is it okay if we just buy a cheap red glow stick and wave it around? It seems kind of unnecessary to require strobing light.

Another question here, where exactly is this place? 14 miles south of prescott is kinda vague... can we get some directions? I looked all over the CC website and didn't find any, googled camp spartan and didn't find anything there either.

Here is a general outline for the event. Multiple Fragos will be issued through out each day for each squad with more detailed mission information.

Friday, Sept 9th
1200hrs-1830hrs - Parking, set up camp sites, registration, chrono,  If a team has all it's member's present and they are ready to go they may request a squad/safety briefing. Expect the briefing to be 10-15mins, and the whole team must be in attendance and ready to deploy.  Immediately after being briefed they are cleared hot and are free to enter the AO. At that time teams may explore/patrol the area and engage enemy units. No teams will be allowed to deploy unless all members are accounted for.

1930hrs - Game End Ex (campers return to their designated camping areas.)

Saturday, Sept 10th
500hrs - First teams are deploy (each squad will be issued with their exact time for deployment)

approx 1200hrs - approx 45mins -1hr lunch

1800hrs End Ex - Event/Team Photos at OP Restrepo

1820hrs - Teams retire to their encampments

Sunday, Sept 11
500hrs - First teams deploy
1200hrs - End Ex
1220hrs - Raffle

Perhaps I missed it, but is there a map that is supposed to be attached to the intel packet?
