AEG with most possible upgrades

hi, im wondering what aeg has the most possible upgrades. From any kind of weapon; be it an SMG, Assualt Rifle, or even a sniper or LMG to what goess on in the weapon from the motor types, gears, barrels, and etc. Ive talked with some friends and people at gearbox about all different kinds but im still not sure. M14's and MP5's seem to look like the best possibilities but I just need to know what else there can be.

To what end?  Any have decent AEG is upgradable so what are you trying to accomplish.  From a strictly numbers standpoint, there's more upgrades for M4 based guns than anything else.

If we're talking internals, V2/3 compatible gearboxes hands down. If we're talking externals, armalites. If we're talkin' both, armalites again.

Although with a little money, R.I.S., and duct tape, anything is possible!  :lol:

While you should be able to find most upgrades you'd be wanting for most models out there, M4/M16 variants are by far the MOST customizable, as well as the easiest to find parts/gear for. As far as handguns go, Glocks and 1911s.
