No you're not. The Mk23 SOCOM suppressor is for the Mk23. If you care about being even the least bit accurate, you wouldn't consider it. I know, it has the cool name "SOCOM" (even though you probably don't know what SOCOM means or what it is), but it's for a .45 caliber handgun, not a 5.56mm Assault rifle. Get a G&P M4 QD and keep it real, homie!

Other Than having to drop 80$ on a G&P QD, i want to have a longer innner barrel that is constantly covered, so the QD only would serve the purpose of covering the innner barrel like i want it to. And there has to be enough space inside the silencer to clear the inner barrel with a little room to spare. Maybe something other than a QD like a screw on. I dont need it to actualy suppress that much, but just to protect the inner barrel.
