Looking for a reasonable gun for my neighbor's kid.

Just as the subject says, my neighbor came up to me to day wanting to know what types/brands are good for a small kid 13-15ish...maybe? He's willing to spend $100-150 for his kids gun but wants something small and compact. He wants a metal gearbox and if possible 'metal casing'. He was thinking of getting an MP5 or something along those lines.

I'm not expert in airsoft in anyway so I thought I would ask you guys before I told him to buy some cheap p.o.s. due to the lack of experience I have myself.

So what would you think would be best?

Mp5k, galaxy, buy it new. He will like the box, and it will have a warranty. It will be good looking, light, and durable, and it will come with everything needed to play and have fun as a 13 year old. Accurate enough to practice shooting targets, use for fun, and a little field play. Low enough FPS to use in CQB OR Field, but good enough for both. Low enough fps to prevent him from injuring himself or breaking things by accident.

Cheap enough that it wont be a sore loss if it finally dies on him, but reliable enough to last.

New mags are 3-5$ and MP5 accessories are the cheapest on the market.

Go for the PDW version if you can find it.

G&G Combat Machines, start around $140 but you need battery and charger seperate.  Extremely reliable but plastic body.

ICS Sportline, start around $170 but you need battery and charger seperate.  Easy to upgrade and fix with the split gearbox I here.  Internals should surpase that of G&G but just below KWA.  Also plastic.
