The highest I ever heard was 350fps, and other times I heard was stock. Then again, there are about 1 or 2 CQB games per year, and 20 or 30 out door games. You think about which one you will attend more often. Just get it at 350, and if you want to goto a CQB game, switch the spring out with the stock one.

If you plan to use it for CQB, why not just leave it stock?

Ok, how about this then.  I cant put a 9.6v battery in it, so should I just go with a m100 or pdi150 to keep my rof up?  It is a machine gun.

Well, technically, it is a SUB-machine gun.

As long as it shoots under 300 fps, you can use it for CQB. If you want to get close to the 400 fps limit that AA has for AEG's, be careful. Since you are old enough, you may want to go to one of the big OP's someday, and they usually have more stringent fps rules than we do.

GAWD Frank, you are soooo anal!![:D]

OP RO's FPS limit for CQC environments was 350, 50 above the AA limit.

OP LC3's limit is 420, 20 over the AA limit.

See a trend here?

Get metal bushings, a silent piston head set, and an M100 spring and you should be OK for CQB.

I think "should" is the operative word in the above statement.  [;)]

I usually try to set my AEG's up for a high ROF if they are going to be CQB guns.  I usually keep the stock spring in there, and drop in some metal bearings (not bushings), and a Systema High Speed motor and/or some Systema High Speed Gears.  I found the ROF to be VERY nice.  [:D]

I don't trust Bearing bushings, that's why I recommend metal bushings.  Guarder has some nice double oil channel bushings that IMHO are much better than bearings.

Precision is one of our Sponsors, so yes we've heard of them.  How much are they charging you for the labor?  I normally charge a flat rate of $25 for the labor and you supply the parts and pay for shipping both ways.

Harley, I might take you up on that.  I like to buy from Precision, but they messed up an MP5K that I sent to them.  Ill be living in Phoenix again in about 2 months.  If you are up for it, Ill buy some parts and pay you to upgrade my Tommy Gun.  Where should I go for parts, HK?  I havent seen a silent piston head at any US dealers.  Also, should I go with the M100 or a PDI ??

Try Airsoft Extreme, they're another sponsor of ours, not sure if you get a discount for mentioning AA or not though.  I'm not sure what the PDI equivelent of an M100 is, Paco can probably answer that.

AirsoftExtreme doesn't provide any discounts for AA members.

The M100 is the equivalent of a PDI 120% spring.  The M120 is the equivalent of a PDI 170% spring.  If there were an M110, it would be the equivalent of the PDI 140% spring.  IIRC, PDI also has a 150% and 130% spring.  They may also have a 110% spring by now.
